𝐎𝐮𝐫 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐲. 𝐎𝐮𝐫 𝐕𝐨𝐢𝐜𝐞. 𝐎𝐮𝐫 𝐀𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧. 🤝

The biggest gathering of accredited Civil Society Organizations in Legazpi City is happening this October as the City Government of Legazpi, together with the Legazpi City People’s Council, convenes the 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝗟𝗘𝗚𝗔𝗭𝗣𝗜 𝗖𝗜𝗧𝗬 𝗖𝗦𝗢 𝗦𝗨𝗠𝗠𝗜𝗧 on 𝗢𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟲–𝟳, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 at 𝗟𝗲𝗴𝗮𝘇𝗽𝗶 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗼 𝗛𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗔, bringing together the accredited Civil Society Organizations from across the city.

With the theme, “𝗢𝘂𝗿 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆, 𝗢𝘂𝗿 𝗩𝗼𝗶𝗰𝗲, 𝗢𝘂𝗿 𝗔𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗴𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗦𝗢 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝗻 𝗟𝗲𝗴𝗮𝘇𝗽𝗶,” the two-day summit provides a space for dialogue, collaboration, and meaningful engagement among CSOs and other stakeholders toward stronger citizen participation and partnerships in local governance.

More than a gathering, the Summit is an opportunity to connect, find common ground, build partnerships, and turn shared concerns into collective action. Because when citizens come together, our city moves forward together. 💙

𝐏𝐇𝐎𝐓𝐎 𝐇𝐈𝐆𝐇𝐋𝐈𝐆𝐇𝐓𝐒 | 𝐉𝐨́𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐬 𝐧𝐢𝐧 𝐓𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐨𝐲𝐚𝐧 𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐚 𝐬𝐚 𝐊𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐠𝐚𝐧: 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡-𝐋𝐞𝐝 𝐂𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐧-𝐔𝐩 𝐃𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔

Different contexts, common aspirations and one of those aspirations is a cleaner and more livable Tamaoyan. 😊

The PIDO-Diday Tamaoyan actively joined the Jóvenes nin Tamaoyan Para sa Kalinigan: Youth-Led Clean-Up Drive 2026, spearheaded by the Barangay 43 Tamaoyan Sangguniang Kabataan as part of the celebration of Linggo ng Kabataan 2026, anchored on the theme “Different Contexts, Common Aspirations.”

Together with fellow youth organizations and fraternities, we took part in the bayanihan by showing that when women and young people come together, even small actions can create a meaningful difference.

Because our contexts may be different, but our aspiration remains common: a cleaner Tamaoyan for everyone. 🌎🤲🏻💚

𝐈𝐂𝐘𝐌𝐈 | 𝐏𝐈𝐃𝐎-𝐃𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐓𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐨𝐲𝐚𝐧 𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐈𝐛𝐚𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐬 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔

The PIDO-Diday Tamaoyan proudly participated in the Ibalong Youth Awards 2026 held last August 17, 2026, at the Legazpi City Convention Center.

Representing the organization were President Isabel Apuli-Gadebois and Ms. Jane Reyna, joining fellow youth leaders and advocates in celebrating the achievements, passion, and contributions of the Jóvenes nin Legazpi.

Congratulations to all the awardees who continue to inspire and create meaningful impact in our communities. May your stories remind us that every effort, no matter how small, can create ripples of change. 🙌🏻✨

Ayon sa nagpaabot ng reklamo sa DZGB, walang isinagawang pampublikong anunsiyo, aplikasyon, pagsusuri, o panayam para sa mga magtatapos na estudyante sa kolehiyo na nagnanais na makilahok sa programa.

Sa kabila nito, nagtakda na umano ng pinal na listahan ng mga benepisyaryo ang opisyal ng barangay. Aniya, ang mga nasa listahan na mga beneficiary ay anak ng ilang mga Barangay officials at mga TDP beneficiaries. Hinihingi ng ilang kabataan na magkaroon ng pagsusuri sa mga qualified beneficiaries.

“This situation is concerning because many graduating students, particularly those from low-income households, were expecting an opportunity to apply but were not given the chance to undergo any application or screening process. We respectfully request verification as to whether the procedures required under the program's memorandum and guidelines were properly followed.,” pahayag ng nagreklamo.

Naipadala na sa Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) ang pormal na reklamo.

Naipaabot na ng DZGB News kay Barangay Captain Sylvia Del Agua ang nasabing hinaing. Sa ngayon, habang sinusulat ang balitang ito, wala pang reaksyon ang opisyal sa nasabing isyu.
