𝗜𝗡 𝗣𝗛𝗢𝗧𝗢𝗦: We are proud to share that 10 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗲 𝟭𝟮 𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗼𝗳 St. Agnes Academy, Legazpi City completed their 𝙒𝙤𝙧𝙠 𝙄𝙢𝙢𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙞𝙤𝙣 at SAC Legazpi from March 9–13.

SAC Legazpi proudly supports St. Agnes Academy's commitment to holistic formation by providing our students with meaningful, firsthand experience in:
✅ Social Development Initiatives ✅ Community Engagement and ✅ Church-Based Service Programs

The students were immersed in the various advocacies of the Social Action Center (SAC) Legazpi, deepening their social awareness, strengthening their leadership skills, and nurturing their sense of civic responsibility.

𝗟𝗢𝗢𝗞: Following the successful profiling activity last March 24–25, 2026, the 𝐒𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐀𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐂𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐃𝐢𝐨𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐋𝐞𝐠𝐚𝐳𝐩𝐢 (𝐒𝐀𝐂 𝐋𝐞𝐠𝐚𝐳𝐩𝐢) 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐃𝐢𝐨𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐚𝐧 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐧 𝐒𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐬 (𝐃𝐒𝐂𝐒), in partnership with 𝐃𝐎𝐋𝐄, 𝐒𝐄𝐃𝐏 𝐒𝐢𝐦𝐛𝐚𝐠 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐒𝐄𝐃𝐏 𝐌𝐏𝐂 moves forward with Phase 2 of its preparations for the 124th Labor Day Celebration and Livelihood Fair on May 1, 2026.

This phase focuses on the 𝗘𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗟𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘆 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴, 𝗮𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗟𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴, designed to equip identified beneficiaries with practical knowledge and skills for sustainable income generation and enterprise development.

The series of trainings was conducted across three districts: on𝗔𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗹 𝟳, the session for the beneficiaries of 1st district was held in the morning at St. John the Baptist Parish and in the afternoon at St. Stephen the Protomartyr Parish for those 3rd district carpenters. The third session took place on 𝗔𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗹 𝟴 at SeDCen, SEDP Building, Bitano, Legazpi City for the 2nd district beneficiaries, while another session for those who were not able to attend on the first three schedules was held yesterday, 𝗔𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗹 𝟭𝟯 at SAC Legazpi Conference Room.

The activity was enriched by the presence of resource speakers from Simbag MFI and MPC, including 𝗠𝘀. 𝗡𝗼𝗲𝗺𝗶 𝗔. 𝗕𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗼𝗯𝗿𝗮, Special Project Consultant of Simbag Microfinance and former Executive Director of SEDP MPC; 𝗠𝘀. 𝗥𝗶𝘇𝗮 𝗤𝘂𝗶𝗼𝗯𝗲 𝗟𝗮𝗻𝗴𝘁𝗮, Community Development Worker of SEDP–Simbag sa Pag-Asenso Inc.; and 𝗠𝘀. 𝗔𝗴𝗻𝗲𝘀 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗼 𝗣𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀, OIC Executive Director of SEDP MPC, who shared their expertise in financial literacy, entrepreneurship, and community development.

Through this initiative the capacity of beneficiaries continues to be strengthened, preparing them not only for immediate employment opportunities but also for long-term livelihood sustainability.

𝗜𝗡 𝗣𝗛𝗢𝗧𝗢𝗦: Last April 10, 2026, we held the Exit Meeting with our Foreign Interns at the SAC Legazpi Office — marking the completion of a meaningful and impactful journey together.

We are proud to have hosted these three Danish Interns from the University College Copenhagen, through DIB, who have successfully completed their 10-week Internship Program with us. 🎓

Over the course of their internship, they were immersed in the heart of our work — from their primary focus on Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (DRRM), to the various other advocacies that SAC Legazpi champions. They didn't just observe — they rolled up their sleeves, stepped into the community, and actively participated in our ground and community works, experiencing firsthand the realities and resilience of the people we serve.

Their presence brought fresh perspectives, genuine dedication, and a spirit of collaboration that enriched not only our programs but also the communities they touched. 🤝🌱

As they return to Denmark, we hope that every lesson learned, every story heard, and every experience gained during their time here will serve as a valuable foundation in their personal and professional journeys ahead.

𝗟𝗢𝗢𝗞 I We are grateful to share that 𝟱𝟬 𝗯𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀 have successfully received assistance from CRS Philippines as part of the final stretch of the STY Uwan interventions. Lord, thank You for the gift of resurrection — for the promise that no matter how broken, how lost, or how heavy our burdens may be, Your love always finds a way to make all things new. 🙏
