📚✨ SCHOLARS DAY: LEARN AND TAKE! 💛

A day filled with learning, laughter, bonding, and gratitude! 🥰

During the school break, our scholars came together to learn about politeness, respect, responsibility, and resilience. Our high school students also had the opportunity to learn basic computer skills, while everyone took time to write letters to their generous donors, sharing updates about their lives and studies. 💻💌

More than just a day together, it was a reminder that learning happens everywhere—and every experience helps our scholars grow. 🌱

Learning is more fun when we get to play! 💛🎲

Last Saturday, our children had a wonderful time learning about different professions and thinking about what they want to become when they grow up. 👩‍⚕️👨‍🏫👩‍🚒👨‍🔧

Through our “Working for My Dream” activity, they discovered that reaching a dream is like climbing a staircase—one small step at a time. 🪜🌱

🌱 Nurturing the Heart of a Child 🍀🌿

Yesterday, we had a meaningful time with the parents of our scholars during our Parents Huddle at the Tiwala office.

Our discussion centered on Luke 6:45 and the heart of a child. We reflected on how a child’s heart is like a garden—and as parents, we have a big part in the seeds that are planted and nurtured there. 🌱

One simple but powerful reminder from our session:

“Ang ugali ay bunga lamang. Ang puso ang ugat.” ❤️

Instead of focusing only on what we see on the outside, we were encouraged to learn how to reach the heart of our children, understand what is taking root, and most importantly, guide their hearts toward Christ.

We’re grateful for our parents who took the time to listen, reflect, and share. May God continue to give them wisdom and grace as they nurture the hearts of their children. 🙏💛

📚✨ Our Literacy Classes Are Back!

A new school year means new faces, new stories, and new opportunities to learn! 💛

Last week, we officially kicked off our Literacy Classes with our new batches of students—and what a meaningful way to begin! 🎉

From distributing Build Story Blocks kits from Goodera 🧩, to coordinating with the principals of our partner schools, and finally meeting and teaching our new learners, it was a week filled with excitement, connection, and purpose.

We’re grateful for the opportunity to walk alongside these children as they learn, create, imagine, and grow. 🌱📖

Here’s to another school year of building skills, building confidence, and building stories—one child at a time! ❤️

We thank God for a truly fruitful ministry visit to our Scholarship Program area of operation in Camarines Norte last July 23-26. We are humbled by all that He allowed us to accomplish and by the lives He continues to touch through His grace.

During our visit, we were blessed to:
• Conduct community and home visits to provide aftercare and encouragement to our former scholars.
• Hold a Mental Health Seminar for the youth, promoting hope, resilience, and emotional well-being.
• Facilitate a Financial Literacy Training for the parents and young adults of GHF Vinzons, equipping families with practical stewardship skills.
• Worship and fellowship with our brethren at GHF Vinzons, rejoicing together in God's faithfulness.
• Share a special dinner and meaningful bonding time with our co-laborers in Christ, strengthening our partnership in His ministry.

To God be all the glory for every opportunity to serve, encourage, and grow together in faith.

A heartfelt thank you to Global Harvest Fellowship - Vinzons for your warm hospitality and gracious accommodation, as always. It was truly refreshing to spend time with our family in Christ, worship, and serve alongside you. We are grateful for your love, partnership, and faithfulness in God's work. Tiwala Family Strengthening Program Officially Launched! 💙

We successfully launched the Tiwala Family Strengthening Program at Barangay Bonot, Legazpi City last Thursday, bringing together parents and families for a meaningful day of learning and empowerment.

The session featured P4S (Pagsasanay sa Pagiging Magulang Tungo sa Pinagpalang Pamilya), equipping parents with valuable insights and practical guidance in nurturing stronger, happier, and more resilient families.👨‍👩‍👧‍👦🏠

Finally sharing photos from the last two Saturdays of our resumed STEP Classes in our partner communities in Legazpi! 💙

This term, we're exploring the theme "Wonderfully Made: Growing in God's Design for Life and Learning." Through this curriculum, children are encouraged to discover who they are and embrace God's unique design for their lives.

With interactive lessons, meaningful discussions, and fun activities, they are learning to better understand their emotions, values, strengths, and God-given purpose—growing not only in knowledge but also in character and faith.

We thank God for every child, volunteer, supporter, and community partner who continues to make this ministry possible. Here's to raising children who know they are wonderfully made and deeply loved by God! 💛✨
