For the observance of All Souls’ Day on November 2, please note the following instruction from the Ordo 2024:

The Ordo of 2024 (page xi) states that All Souls’ Day is no. 3 in the Table of Precedence of Liturgical Days, while Sundays in Ordinary Time (including the 31st Sunday, which falls on November 3) is no. 6.

This means, therefore, that on Saturday evening (November 2), the Mass for the Faithful Departed will take precedence over the (anticipated) Mass for the 31st Sunday in Ordinary Time. Attendance at this evening Mass will satisfy the Sunday obligation.
