THE ROTARY CLUB OF LEGAZPI FOUNDATION, INC. MEETS

Yesterday, December 7, 2024, at the residence of Bro Cesar Montanez in Bgy Bonot, Legazpi City.

The RCLFI meeting had three agenda. Agenda #1 tackled on the birthday celebration of Chairman Avelino Belleza at 70 in Tiwi Community College on December 10, 2 to 5 pm, attending the school program initiated by the community college teachers. Chairman Avelino Belleza is the Officer-in-Charge President of the Tiwi Community College, citing education guidelines that he could not be appointed as President because of age requirement which only mandates up to age 61.

Agenda #2 tackled on the Christmas Party project. It was finalized that a contribution of P1K be given. The party will be held at GABBI RESTAURANT IN TAGAS, DARAGA, ALBAY @ 6PM.

The attendees were: Miguel "Bobby" Rosaros, Avelino Belleza, Noel Estillomo, Cesar Montanez, Dindo Deyto, Manuel Beltran, Marcelo Dy, Magic Majadillas, and Richard Opena.

Bro Richard Opena arrived last so he was not covered in this photo,

NOTE: The meeting was held at the residence of Cesar Montanez because it was his birthday. The meeting was held to celebrate with him at the same time.

GENERAL ASSEMBLY MEETING AND ELECTION

The Rotary Club of Legazpi Foundation, Inc. (RCFI) held the General Assembly Meeting and Election at Shot O Clock Resto Bar yesterday (April 1, 2024) as mandated by its Security and Exchange Commission (SEC)-registered Constitution-and-By-Laws, this was announced by RCLFI Secretary Manuel "Boy" Beltran.

It must be recalled that the Rotary Club of Legazpi Foundation (RCLFI) was formed forty years ago on June 6, 1984 through the Security and Exchange Commission (SEC). Most of its incorporators had been gone from our physical world except for Atty Salvador Silerio, but, he is now mostly confined at home due to old age.

Its incorporators were Alberto Olaquer, Salvador Silerio, Jose Sarte, Jr. Jose Ludovice, Jose Honrado, Ernesto Yao, Antonio Azana, Romeo Monjardin, Gregorio Prieto, Cipriano Menquito, and Lorenzo Adornado.

The RCLFI is being continued to exist by the "old guards" of Rotary Club of Legazpi who were former officers and members, accepting new memberships to sustain its life span and viability.

On its regular meeting last night, supposedly on or before March 30, but due to its being holidays caused by the Lenten Season, Rotarian Secretary Manuel "Boy" Beltran held it April 1 instead, strictly following the CBL, the RCLFI members and officers held its annual general assembly and election, with a formal meeting held afterwards, presided by Chairman Avelino Belleza.

HOLDS SIMPLE CHRISTMAS PARTY

On December 17, 2023 at 5:30 in the afternoon, with the initiative of President Avelino Belleza and Secretary Manuel Beltran, the Rotary Club of Legazpi Foundation, Inc. held its simple Christmas Party at GABBI's VIP room in Tagas, Daraga, Albay.

It was simple but full of shaky stories, crazy laughter and interesting thought exchanges that kept the time be spent with enhance and joyful companionship over bottles of drinks and tasty food.

The Christmas party was an offshoot of the gift-giving for at least 130 Senior Citizens that was held in the morning same date, December 11 at Victory Village North.

ON THE 74TH INDUCTION CEREMONY OF ROTARY CLUB OF LEGAZPI HELD AT CASABLANCA CONVENTION CENTER ON OCTOBER 6, 2023

At entrance of Casablanca Convention Center, these two brands of alcoholic beverages were on display. Through the invitation of Rotarian Richard. the members of the Rotary Club of Legazpi Foundation gave the nod for a souvenir shot with the two sales ladies.

And what a grand slam it was to be young at heart once in a while posing with these great ladies.

The RC Legazpi Foundation Association is composed of members who have been long time active members of Rotary Club of Legazpi but have organized a new group. They voluntarily chose to form a foundation, distinct and non-associated, but still have a close relationship with the Rotary Club of Legazpi, yet functioning independently, and can create a project separate from the mother club.
