A pencil starts sharp. Full of purpose. Ready to write dreams, solve problems, sketch ideas into reality. But the more it gets used, the more it wears down. Nawawala ang pagkatulis ng dulo at napupudpud ito.
Ganun din sa buhay. You start fresh, fueled with passion, chasing goals like you have all the time in the world. Pero habang tumatagal, napapagod ka rin. Challenges grind you down. Failures make you question if you are still enough. Parang wala nang natitira. Parang unti unti kang nauubos.
Pero ito ang kailangan mong tandaan. Ang lapis hindi nagiging useless kapag napudpod. Hindi ito itinatapon. Hindi ito sinusukuan. Ang sagot?
Tasahan mo uli.
Ang pagtasa o pag sharpen is not something so easy dahil it means friction. It means losing parts of yourself. It means pain. Pero pagkatapos naman ay mas matalas ka. Mas handa. Mas may lalim.
So if life feels like it is breaking you down, do not give up. Maybe you are not breaking. Maybe you are just being sharpened for something greater. Keep writing. Keep moving. Your story is still being written.
