From the running deadlines to extra curriculars, students of Bicol University truly strive for the best.

But what about the things that happen behind the scenes? The stress they feel under maintaining that excellence? Their first goodbye to their family and yearning for a better future? What about big decisions that alter their life in more ways than one?

This project is made to keep that in mind. That even in the midst of struggles and hardships, they have a community to reach out to. To reach for hope.

Project Ishmael does not only aim to share the word, but to let these students experience His love.

𝑪𝒂𝒏𝒗𝒂𝒔 𝒐𝒇 𝑮𝒓𝒂𝒄𝒆 ☆ 𝑷𝒂𝒓𝒕 𝑶𝒏𝒆 | 𝗕𝗨 𝗟𝗔𝗬𝗙 𝗸𝗶𝗰𝗸𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝘄𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗳𝘂𝗹 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁

On this day, 𝗦𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 2, a few of our LAYFmates have gathered to engage in the Word of the Lord through their talents in the world of expression and art.

𝐂𝐚𝐧𝐯𝐚𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐞 hopes to uplift their artistic spirits and express prayers and reflections in their journey with Christ, to develop a relationship with Him that will truly resonate with their sentiments, and to encourage collaboration and community.

May the glory of the Lord shine through with all the people that worked wonderfully for this project to happen.

🫵𝗟𝗔𝗬𝗙𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀! 𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝗔𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝘄𝗮𝘆!🫵

The Officers of BU-LAYF gathered together on 𝗦𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟰, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 to map out activities for the semester ahead! In this venture ahead, we aim to foster community, spark creativity, and deepen our relationship with God — and we are excited to bring them to you soon!

Let us continue to seek Christ together and meet in unity —

As we go into the month of September, let us look back to God's faithfulness in August! His Faithfulness, Grace, and Mercy are new each day, and we've lived through it this past month. Let us continue to give praise and gratitude to Him daily for all that He has done! 🤍🙌

Thank you to everyone who participated and supported us during the FWP, as well as giving your heart and visions for future activities and serving the Lord!

That's a wrap! BU LAYF is so grateful to have been able to participate in Bicol University's Welcome Party, themed: 𝗣𝗮𝗴𝗕𝗨𝗻𝘆𝗮𝗴: 𝗣𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗮 𝗡𝗴 𝗣𝗮𝗴𝘀𝘂𝗹𝘂𝗯𝗼𝗻𝗴 2026. Together with our LAYFmates, our teamwork was able to pave the way for our booth's success despite the mishaps and trials we have all faced.

Praise God for this success and gratitude for the efforts of our LAYFmates and the people who participated in and supported our booth! ❤️

Grace and peace, LAYFMATES, classmates, and friends!

Another semester is finally coming to an end. After countless battles that many of us carry silently, we made it here by grace. There were days when we felt tired, anxious, unmotivated, and uncertain yet somehow, we kept moving forward.

But in the middle of all the busyness, achievements, and exhaustion, one truth remains: our hearts will never truly find rest apart from the One who created them.

Jesus lovingly invites us:
“𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐦𝐞, 𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐰𝐡𝐨 𝐥𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐫 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐯𝐲 𝐥𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐧, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐈 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐠𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐭.” — 𝐌𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐰 11:28

This is more than just a fellowship. It is an invitation to pause, breathe, rest, and encounter the love of Christ. A reminder that before we are students, achievers, or leaders, 𝐰𝐞 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐥𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐝 𝐛𝐲 𝐆𝐨𝐝.

The 𝐁𝐢𝐜𝐨𝐥 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐋𝐚𝐤𝐚𝐬 𝐀𝐧𝐠𝐤𝐚𝐧 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡 𝐅𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐨𝐰𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 warmly invites you to our Sem Ender Fellowship — a time of worship, reflection, thanksgiving, and genuine fellowship as we end this semester not just surviving, but surrendering everything to the Lord.

We will also have a 𝐅𝐑𝐄𝐄 𝐂𝐎𝐅𝐅𝐄𝐄 𝐁𝐎𝐎𝐓𝐇 ☕

A safe place for honest questions, sincere conversations, quiet prayers, and moments of encouragement. No pressure. Just good coffee, open hearts, and the 𝐥𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐡𝐨𝐩𝐞 found in 𝐂𝐡𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐭 𝐉𝐞𝐬𝐮𝐬 𝐚𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐞.
