This program has become one of the most awaited events during the month of February and August. Watch Your Health program has become synonymous with KC Legazpi and Kiwanis in general. This program aims to give the community an affordable access to health services and promote a health conscious community for a better future. KIWANIS CLUB OF LEGAZPI CITY//
FEB. 17,2024 - Project launching.

Project : " Eat right for a healthy body and bright mind" is one of our signature projects on health and nutrition focused on malnourished school children. This project also centered on the orientation, training of parents to emphasize the important role of parents in providing good nutrition of their children . This project aims to rehabilitate malnourished school children and help them grow normal and improve their school performances giving them a fair chance in life and a better brighter future.

This is a long term project with continuous health and nutrition monitoring with a holistic approach to ensure a successful outcome. This is not an ordinary feeding program, this is a focused, proactive and holistic nutrition program anchored on our mission to serve the children of the world.

Last saturday, Kiwanis Club of Legazpi City in partnership with NDAP Albay chapter, had a project launching at San Roque Elementary School participated by the school principal, teachers and by our selected beneficiaries. Activities done were as follows:
1. Orientation of parents
2. Nutrition education lectures
3. Nutrition assessment/ screening
4. Medical check up/ health screening
5. Nutrition counseling.
