Request for power interruption of the National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP) to facilitate the transfer of the 69kV Sta. Barbara–Ingore Transmission Line load to the 100 MVA Mobile Transformer No. 2 in preparation for the planned maintenance of 50 MVA Transformer No. 1, including its associated High-Voltage Equipment (HVE) and protection relays at the Sta. Barbara Substation. A second one-hour interruption from 5:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. will be implemented to transfer the load back to 50 MVA Transformer No. 1 upon completion of the maintenance works.

The Municipality of Leganes received a Certificate of Appreciation from the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) Environmental Management Bureau, Western Visayas, on July 13, 2026. The award, presented at the Pavia Multi-Purpose Center, recognizes the municipality's valuable contribution to the DENR Express Permitting on Wheels (POW) Program.

The award was received by MENRO Leganes, Cheryl Fernandez.

Moving forward after the storm. Personnel from the General Services Office (GSO) are actively working on the ground to clean up the aftermath of the Southwest Monsoon (habagat).

GSO boys cleared the heavily blocked drainage at the corner of Confessor and Hilado Streets to ease water recession.

Let us help our community bounce back by keeping our personal waste managed and our canals free of trash.
