The Municipality of Lazi proudly celebrates another milestone as the Lazi Primary Care Facility (PCF) successfully passed all four (4) assessment criteria and has been officially elevated from a Level 1 to a Level 2 Adolescent-Friendly Health Facility (AFHF) following the assessment conducted by the Department of Health – Negros Island Region Center for Health Development (DOH-NIR CHD).
This remarkable achievement reflects the unwavering commitment of the Lazi Primary Care Facility, the Municipal Government of Lazi, partner agencies, and stakeholders in ensuring that adolescents have access to quality, responsive, and youth-friendly health services.
As one of the key partners in the assessment, the Local Youth Development Office (LYDO) presented its youth-centered programs, initiatives, accomplishments, and upcoming activities that promote adolescent health, leadership, participation, and holistic youth development. These initiatives formed part of the evaluation on youth engagement and support systems, contributing to the successful attainment of the Level 2 AFHF certification.
This recognition inspires us to further strengthen our collaboration in creating a healthier, safer, and more empowering environment where every youth in Lazi can thrive.
Congratulations to the Lazi Primary Care Facility (PCF), the Department of Health – Negros Island Region Center for Health Development (DOH-NIR CHD), the Provincial Health Office of Siquijor, the Municipal Health Office, the Local Youth Development Office, of course to the Local Government Unit of LAZI , our dedicated healthcare workers, partner agencies, and everyone whose hard work made this achievement possible.
Together, we continue building a healthier, stronger, and more youth-friendly Lazi! 💙
