As we close the first chapter of the Asian Federation of Student Leaders for Academic Year 2025–2026, our hearts are filled with gratitude. What began as a vision has grown into a community united by one purpose—to empower young leaders to become catalysts of positive change. To every partner organization, educational institution, mentor, volunteer, adviser, and student leader who believed in our mission and journey, thank you for standing with us. Your trust, collaboration, and support transformed ideas into meaningful initiatives and aspirations into lasting impact.

To our pioneering Council of Leaders, thank you for proving that leadership is not measured by titles, but by service, integrity, and the lives you choose to uplift. You became the foundation upon which AFSL continues to grow, and your legacy will inspire every leader who follows. As we look ahead, we remain committed to expanding our horizons, reaching more schools, empowering more student leaders, and building stronger partnerships across the Philippines and beyond. This is only the beginning. Together, we will continue to embrace the power of service, cultivate leaders of character, and create opportunities that inspire generations to lead with purpose.

Every milestone tells a story—not only of academic excellence, but also of resilience, perseverance, and the countless moments of service that have shaped these young leaders into who they are today. As they celebrate the successful completion of another chapter in their educational journey, we also celebrate the values they have embodied as officers of the Asian Federation of Student Leaders. Their achievements are a reflection of their commitment to excellence, their passion for learning, and their unwavering dedication to leading with integrity and purpose.

The Asian Federation of Student Leaders proudly congratulates River Jalen Barriga, Patrick Ryan G. Pedroza, Owen David Miles B. Ward, Toni Mari R. Sanchez, and Rainniel Caryn E. Reyes for reaching this significant milestone. Stonyhurst Southville International School – Batangas proudly recognizes our students who have successfully completed the Bronze Level of The Duke of Edinburgh's International Award—a globally recognized youth development program that empowers young people to discover their potential through Voluntary Service, Skills, Physical Recreation, and the Adventurous Journey.

Their achievement is a testament to months of dedication, resilience, perseverance, and a genuine commitment to personal growth and service to others. Beyond earning an international award, they have embraced challenges, stepped outside their comfort zones, and developed the qualities of responsible and compassionate young leaders.

As the only official DofE Award Centre in Batangas Province under the Asian Federation of Student Leaders, we are incredibly proud of our awardees for bringing honor to our school and inspiring fellow Valiant Knights to pursue excellence beyond the classroom.

The Asian Federation of Student Leaders proudly celebrates the outstanding achievements of our AFSL College Council Officers, whose dedication to excellence continues to bring honor not only to their respective institutions but also to the entire AFSL community.

Congratulations to Jovina Joy S. Gacuan, AFSL College Council Secretary, for earning her degree in Bachelor of Science in Management Accounting; Carl Bennedict C. Cudiamat, AFSL College Council Vice President, for completing his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration major in Marketing Management; and Alessandra M. Topico, AFSL College Council Treasurer, for graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration major in Marketing Management.

We also commend Alessandra M. Topico for her exceptional accomplishments: Champion of the Inaugural UAAP Esports Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Tournament, Exemplary Performance in Off-Campus Competitions (2025–2026), Academic Excellence Awardee (2024), and Outstanding College Y’er of the Year – YMCA of Manila College Work Department (2026). We proudly celebrate the remarkable achievements of our AFSL Basic Education Officers, Rainniel Caryn Reyes (Public Relations Officer) and Owen David Miles Ward (Auditor) from SSIS Malarayat, for their outstanding performance in the World Scholar’s Cup 2026 – Manila Round, held at Singapore School Manila last April 24–25, 2026. Competing among some of the brightest young minds, they demonstrated excellence in critical thinking, communication, and collaboration.

Their success reflects not only academic excellence but also the strong leadership and dedication they embody as members of AFSL. We commend both Rainniel and Owen for bringing pride to the federation and for continuing to inspire fellow student leaders to strive for excellence on a global stage.
