🎥 A First Look at SALVAGELAND

Last November 18, AB Communication students from CommSoc attended the advance screening of Salvageland at Shangri-La Plaza. 🎬🤍

Directed by Lino Cayetano and starring Richard Gomez, the film delivers a gripping story set in a tense fictional town near Metro Manila. The dynamic between a veteran cop and his rookie son — forced into a high-stakes confrontation — felt intense, emotional, and deeply grounded in reality. Each character embodied themes of sacrifice, loyalty, and justice, making the film’s message clear, powerful, and impactful.

The students enjoyed the full experience — from the screening, to the talkback session, to meeting the cast up close. It became a meaningful real-world media encounter that enriched what they usually learn in class. ✨
