Pinapayuhan ng Office of Civil Defense – National Capital Region ang mga residente sa Metro Manila na magsuot ng face mask kapag lalabas ng bahay dahil sa kasalukuyang kalidad ng hangin.

Batay sa Air Quality Index (AQI), umaabot sa “unhealthy” hanggang “very unhealthy” ang kalidad ng hangin sa ilang lungsod sa rehiyon.

Ayon sa ulat, posibleng dulot ito ng usok mula sa nasusunog na Navotas Sanitary Landfill.
