Today’s fellowship was filled with laughter, games, and the kind of joy that comes when young people simply enjoy being together. But beyond the fun, God was doing something deeper in our hearts.
As a follow-up to last week’s powerful message on loving our neighbors, Ptr. Erick reminded us of Jesus’ words in Matthew 24:12—that in the last days, “the love of most will grow cold.”
But God is calling us to a different kind of life—a life where love is not merely something we feel, but something we choose, express, and practice.
As we opened the Word and entered our sharing time, the message became personal. Some young people were moved to tears as they honestly evaluated the condition of their love for others. ❤️🩹 Each one identified a person God was putting on their heart and made a specific application—a practical step they would take to reach out and show love.
May we be a generation whose love does not grow cold.
May we be young people who still greet, still care, still reach out, still forgive, still encourage, and still choose to love—especially when the world is becoming colder.
