This is an update on a legal action pursued by The Fraternal Order of Eagles “Yakap” (Philippine Eagles)•The Original Order•, in defense of its reputation and the rights of its bona fide members.
A man identified by the initials A.P. was arrested on September 6, 2026, in Quezon City, pursuant to a Warrant of Arrest issued by a Regional Trial Court (RTC) in Quezon City in connection with a Cyber Libel case. As of this writing, September 8, 2026, A.P. is currently in jail following the implementation of the warrant.
The development serves as a serious reminder that statements, publications, and materials disseminated through social media are not beyond the reach of the law. The use of digital platforms carries with it corresponding legal responsibilities, particularly when allegations or statements may damage the reputation, dignity, or standing of individuals or organizations.
The Original Order maintains that truth, accountability, and lawful processes must prevail over misinformation, malicious accusations, and attempts to deliberately destroy reputations. Criticism and legitimate discussion may form part of public discourse; however, the deliberate publication or propagation of false and defamatory statements may carry legal consequences.
This case should likewise serve as a clear and solemn warning to those who continue to spread falsehoods, fabricate narratives, or maliciously attack the reputation and integrity of The Fraternal Order of Eagles “Yakap” (Philippine Eagles)•The Original Order•
We do not believe in threats. We believe in lawful action, accountability, and due process.
