🕊️ A Salute from the Boy Scouts of the Philippines

With heavy hearts, we mourn the passing of Scout Chris Lorenz Fabian, a 15-year-old Scout from San Jose National High School in Tacloban City.

In the midst of fear and gunfire, he chose not to run. Instead, he stood between danger and his classmates, using his own body to shield the classroom door in an attempt to protect those inside. His final moments reflected extraordinary courage and selflessness.

We honor his bravery and extend our deepest condolences to his family, friends, school, and fellow Scouts. While words can never ease the pain of such a loss, we hope they find strength in knowing that his courage touched countless lives.

⚜️ As Scouts, we remember him not only for how he died, but for how he lived—guided by service, courage, and concern for others. His legacy will continue to inspire Scouts to live by the Scout Oath and Law.

Rest in eternal peace, Scout Chris Lorenz Fabian. 🕊️ Your memory will forever remain in our hearts, and your courage will never be forgotten.

Gone from our sight, but never from our Scout spirit. ⚜️

Goodbye sa vacation era, because Brigada Eskwela 2026 is here!
A program where you, yes you, get to meet your soon to be friends, teachers, and classmates. You also get to see your soon to be classrooms and prepare them for learning! 📖📘

Doing this program, we will fulfill the 11th point of the Scout Law, which is to be CLEAN by tidying up and fixing our learning area. 📝

The LPSCI Boy Scouts of the Philippines would like to dedicate this post to honor the life of our beloved teacher, Miss Shenandoah T. Kwek.

To Miss Shen, we thank you for all the compassion, kindness, and wisdom you shared with us. Everything you taught us will forever be cherished and will never be forgotten.

Despite not being a scout leader, you embodied the 12th Scout Law by showing us how to love God with all our hearts and with REVERENCE. You taught us many things—not only through classroom lessons, but also through life-changing lectures that brought us closer to God.

We will never forget your dedication to teaching and your passion for leading Holy Masses and other religious activities on campus, which kept us grounded in faith. Thank you for allowing us to lead and assist in your activities, along with other clubs and organizations in the school. The LPSCI-BSP salutes to you for the opportunities you gave us.

As you now rest in eternal peace, may you continue to guide us and the entire LPSCI community, so we may face the challenges you once conquered and remain a living reminder that Lapsicians are full of faith and hope.

We offer this short prayer for a wonderful teacher and a dear friend to all:

Lord, we thank You for the gift of her life. May she rest in eternal peace. Please guide her family, friends, and students as they make decisions in the days ahead, and help us always remember her wisdom and lessons. Guide her soul into Heaven.

Today, we bow our heads in profound gratitude as we commemorate 𝐀𝐫𝐚𝐰 𝐧𝐠 𝐊𝐚𝐠𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐧. We remember the fall of Bataan and the legendary stand at Corregidor, not as a moment of defeat, but as the ultimate testament to Filipino resilience.

Imagine the sheer grit of those who endured the Bataan Death March, their sacrifice paved the way for the liberties we often take for granted today. Araw ng Kagitingan isn’t just a historical footnote, it’s a living tribute to the unbreakable Filipino spirit that refuses to back down, even when the odds are stacked high.

We honor the veterans who walked the grueling miles we will never have to, and we salute the modern-day heroes—our soldiers, frontliners, and everyday patriots, who continue to serve our nation with that same selfless courage.

The School Year 2025–2026 has officially come to an end. As we bid farewell to our classrooms and beloved advisers, we carry with us the countless memories we’ve created throughout this journey.

On March 28, 2026, we celebrated the Graduation Day for Grade 12 A moment dedicated to honoring the hard work, dedication, and perseverance each student has shown. This milestone reflects not only academic achievements but also the time, effort, and energy poured into growth and learning this year.

The ceremony was made even more special through the leadership of the selected Senior Scouts of Las Piñas City National Science High School, who ensured that every detail went smoothly. Their commitment and teamwork truly shone, and their contributions were rightfully recognized. We would also like to recognize the dedicated Girl Scouts who helped the ceremony turn out successful!

Congratulations to all students, organizers, and everyone who made this event meaningful! Here's to another year filled with success, growth, and positivity ahead. 🌟
