𝗢𝗣𝗘𝗥𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗧𝗔𝗕𝗔𝗡𝗚 𝗗𝗔𝗩 𝗢𝗥.

Assalamu'alaykum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuho!

On October 10, 2025, two strong earthquakes with magnitudes 7.4 and 6.8 struck Davao Oriental, causing severe damage to homes, schools, and roads. Several lives were lost, many were injured, and thousands of families were forced to evacuate as aftershocks continued to rattle the province.

Communities in Manay, Tarragona, Caraga, and nearby towns are now struggling with limited access to food, water, shelter, and hygiene essentials. Many of our brothers and sisters, both Muslims and non-Muslims, are enduring sleepless nights under makeshift tents, praying for safety and relief.
Let’s answer their call. Let’s embody mercy and unity in these trying times.

The Prophet ﷺ said:

“The believers, in their mutual kindness, compassion, and sympathy, are just like one body. When one of the limbs suffers, the whole body responds with sleeplessness and fever.” (Sahih al-Bukhari & Muslim)

Terms from across the Cebu Youth Cares Association (CYCA) will come together on the court for one day of friendly yet competitive basketball action. More than tournament, this event is a tribute to our shared culture, values, and brotherhood.

Whether you're a player, supporter, or just looking to enjoy the festive vibe, we welcome you to be part of this Eid celebration through sport.

𝗕𝗕𝗠-𝗢𝗗𝗙𝗜 | 𝗠𝗔𝗦𝗛𝗪𝗔𝗥𝗔 𝗢𝗡 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗦𝗣𝗘𝗖𝗧𝗦 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗖𝗛𝗔𝗟𝗟𝗘𝗡𝗚𝗘𝗦 𝗢𝗙 𝗗𝗔'𝗪𝗔𝗛 𝗜𝗡 𝗖𝗘𝗕𝗨.

Objectives: To reaffirm, refine, and realign individual visions with the organizational vision for Islamic Da'wah & Education, ensuring purposeful, strategic, and unified efforts in advancing it's mission.

ᴄʏᴄᴀ- ᴠɪꜱᴀʏᴀꜱ has invited as a guest, and this assembly was conducted to ensure that more leader in the region are engaged into a discourse in identifying certain social issues that continue to challenge the communities not just in the region but throughout the country. As part of CYCA-VISAYAS vision its purpose was also to encourage more youth in joining the coalition of young leaders that guarantees actions are taken in providing solutions to the issues that they have identified in their communities.

Aiming for a more inclusive youth participation. Hearing voices and sentiments from the different perspectives in which the youth have observed in their different localities, because the voice of the youth matters.

This is the flagship program of CYCA-VISAYAS which highlights specific programs that are implemented by each of the committees. This also involves data gathering; needs assessment activities; dialogues and conversations among youths, communities and other stakeholders.
