Today is December 12th, the Universal Health Coverage Day! Let us all gather and support the anniversary of the first unanimous United Nations resolution to provide citizens all around the world the right to healthcare.

The Universal Health Coverage, more commonly known as the Universal Health Care is described by the WHO as a situation where citizens from all around the world can access health services without incurring financial hardship. One of its many goals is to provide protection and give opportunities to people to enjoy the highest possible level of health.

This day is not a small, insignificant day indeed as it marks having 5 years left before the Universal Health Coverage reaches its warm hands all around the world!

If you live near the coast or flood-prone areas, always monitor updates and inform the group chat about your situation. Avoid going outside or traveling unless absolutely necessary. Remember, your safety starts with preparation.

Let us all be vigilant and ready, Stecians. Your Go Bag can save your life in the event of a disaster. Stay safe and alert at all times.

On this day, we raise awareness for those who are affected by Psoriasis disease. World Psoriasis Day is observed every October 29th to raise awareness and advocate for individuals living with this condition.

This 2025, it is upheld by the theme “Psoriatic Disease and Comorbidities – Understanding the Domino Effect.” The theme highlights how this disease can affect not only an individual’s physical health but also their mental well-being, which can lead to comorbidities.

Let us shine a light on those individuals affected by Psoriasis disease and commend them for their strength and resilience. It is important to remember that they are not alone in this battle. World Psoriasis Day aims to raise awareness, which is essential for early diagnosis, better support, and quality care that can improve the lives of those affected. Let us spread compassion, understanding, and support!

In times of great adversity, helping goes beyond responsibility — it is an expression of compassion and solidarity that must live within us. 🫀

Countless families have been left shaken, their homes destroyed, and their lives disrupted, carrying a weight of suffering beyond measure. Now, more than ever, they need every hand willing to reach out and every heart ready to care. Even the smallest act of kindness can bring hope and comfort to those who have lost so much.

September 13–14, 2025 | Youth Volunteer Formation Course 🩸✨

Two days of learning, teamwork, and service! The YVFC Red Cross Training at STEC Gymnasium brought together thirty passionate student volunteers ready to embrace the values of empathy, unity, and preparedness. 💪❤️

From icebreakers, trust-building games, and cultural activities to hands-on first-aid and emergency response skills, every moment strengthened our bond as future volunteers. 🫂🔥 With crowns on our heads, laughter in the air, and lessons in our hearts, we discovered that service isn’t just an act—it’s a way of life. 🌍

Here’s to a new generation of Red Cross youth leaders, ready to serve with courage, compassion, and purpose! 🏅🚑
