Last Friday, our youth had the honor of participating in Santa Cruzan, a beautiful celebration of faith, devotion, and tradition.

As we walked together in honor of the Blessed Virgin Mary, we were reminded of the importance of living with faith, humility, and love. Thank you to everyone who took part and made this celebration meaningful and memorable.

May the spirit of Flores de Mayo continue to inspire us to grow closer to God and serve our community with joyful hearts.

As we conclude this year’s Flores de Mayo celebration, our hearts are filled with gratitude, joy, and faith.
This month has been a beautiful journey of prayers, devotion, learning, and togetherness as we honored Mama Mary and strengthened our relationship with God. From every activity, reflection, song, and shared laughter, we were reminded that faith continues to guide us through every season of life.

Our culmination activity was not only a celebration of traditions and performances, but also a reminder of the importance of unity, kindness, and love within our community. Thank you to everyone who participated, supported, and became part of this meaningful celebration. Your efforts, time, and dedication truly made this event memorable and successful.

As Flores de Mayo comes to an end, may the lessons and memories we gained continue to inspire us to live with faith, humility, and compassion every day.
To God be all the glory, and to Mama Mary, our love and devotion always.

As we wrap up this week’s Flores de Mayo, our hearts are filled with faith, learning, and gratitude.
From the inspiring Story of Jonah that taught us obedience and trust in God, to learning about the 7 Sacraments as guides in our Christian life, every lesson became a reminder of God’s love and mercy. We also reflected on the beauty and meaning of the Amahan Namo and Maghimaya Ka Maria, prayers that continue to strengthen our faith each day.

Thank you to everyone who joined, participated, and offered their time and devotion throughout this meaningful week. May the lessons and memories we shared continue to bloom in our hearts even after Flores de Mayo ends.

San Vicente Ferrer Chapel: 1st Day of Flores de Mayo

Today in our Flores de Mayo catechism, we reflected on the Sign of the Cross—a simple yet powerful act that reminds us of our identity as Christians. It’s more than a gesture; it's a prayer in itself. We learned that the Sign of the Cross is a profession of faith in the Holy Trinity (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit), and a reminder of Christ's sacrifice for our salvation. It is a sign of protection, blessing, and unity with God. As stated in Matthew 28:19, “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.” Through this sacred sign, we declare 1God's presence in our daily lives. (Galatians 6:14, 1 Corinthians 1:18)

Our Story of the Day focused on Jonah—a prophet who tried to run away from God’s calling but learned that His mercy and purpose cannot be escaped. Jonah’s journey inside the belly of the fish reminded us of the power of repentance and obedience. His story teaches us that God’s love is patient, and He always gives second chances. In Jonah 2:2, Jonah cried out from the deep, “In my distress I called to the Lord, and he answered me.” Just like Jonah, when we feel lost or afraid, God is always ready to hear our prayers and guide us back to Him. Other related verses include Psalm 139:7-10, Lamentations 3:22-23, and 2 Peter 3:9—each revealing God’s unending grace and desire for us to return to Him with a faithful heart.
