In observance of Cebu Province Charter Day, a special non-working holiday covering the whole province there will be no face-to-face classes, August 6, 2026

The event traces back to August 6, 1569, when King Philip II of Spain appointed Miguel Lรณpez de Legazpi as the very first governor of Cebu. This official appointment marked the administrative establishment of Cebu as a civil government and a recognized province.

If youโ€™re still undecided, this yearโ€™s Organization Fair is here to help! Get ready to explore booths that speak to your passions and interests. You'll get an exclusive, inside look at each STEC Senior High School organization through our booth carousel! ๐ŸŽŸ๏ธ

How does the carousel work? ๐ŸŽ 

You and your peers will have exactly eight minutes at each booth to discover what theyโ€™re all about. This includes a quick introduction followed by a Q&A session. Once the timer is up, your group will move to the next booth where another organization awaits! This continues until youโ€™ve seen them all. ๐Ÿ”„ See you there stecians !

Pursuant to the announcement of Mayor Cindi King Chan, face-to-face classes at all levels are suspended tomorrow, July 10, 2026, due to the ashfall caused by the recent Mt. Kanlaon eruption.

Please stay indoors as much as possible, wear a face mask if you need to go outside, and continue monitoring official announcements from the school and the LGU. Learning will proceed through the Alternative Delivery Mode (ADM).
