๐ A Celebration of Unity and Fellowship๐
The spirit of camaraderie, sportsmanship, fellowship, and professional unity filled the greens of Mactan Island Golf Course during the successful PSME 12th Visayas Regional Conference Open Golf Tournament, hosted by the PSME LapuโLapu Chapter. Distinguished guests, generous sponsors, dedicated organizers, and 45 enthusiastic golf players came together for a truly memorable event.
Set against the scenic backdrop of Mactan Island Golf Course, the tournament became more than just a competitionโit was a celebration of friendship, networking, and the strong bond among mechanical engineers and industry partners across the region. Heartfelt gratitude is extended to all 44 players whose skills, support, and participation greatly contributed to the success of the event.
The PSME Lapu-lapu Chapter family sincerely thanks the hardworking committee members whose dedication and tireless efforts made the tournament seamless and enjoyable. Special appreciation also goes to the management and staff of Mactan Island Golf Course for their warm hospitality and excellent assistance.
A major highlight was the generosity of our sponsors and supporters, which elevated the spirit of fellowship. Special recognition is given to CCS Logistics Services, through its owner Engr. Ronald Reyes, for his invaluable support. Gratitude is likewise extended to our one lechon sponsors: PSME LAPU-LAPU CHAPTER IPP Engr. Ernesto Magnase; Engr. Ronald Reyes, President of PSME CHBE; and Engr. Arculo Concon, PSME National Executive Vice President.
Equally appreciated are the newly inducted PME members of the PSME LapuโLapu Chapter who generously sponsored another one lechon each: Engr. Miguel Martinez, Engr. Yvrille Sun, Engr. Celosia Nyjiel, Engr. Rodyl Ygot, Engr. John Mathew Amado, Engr. Christian Inso, Engr. Jonre Constanza Capoy, and Engr. Sherwin Maganto. Their generosity truly embodied unity and brotherhood within the organization.
The event was further honored by the presence of leaders from the Professional Regulation Commission and the Professional Regulatory Board of Mechanical Engineering. The awarding ceremony was made more meaningful by Hon. Rodulfo Tablante, Chairman of PRBME, together with his wife and daughter. Chairman Tablante graciously led the grand raffle draw, adding excitement to the celebration. Special recognition is also extended to Hon. Ramon Solis for actively participating in the tournament and for performing the ceremonial first-ball tee-off that formally opened the competition, and also special recognition to Hon. Manuel Paulino for gracing the awarding ceremony, and Engr. Rej Abano for representing PSME CHBE.
Indeed, the PSME 12th VRC Open Golf Tournament was a remarkable success made possible through the collective effort, generosity, and support of everyone involved. Beyond trophies and prizes, the event strengthened professional relationships, fostered fellowship, and created lasting memories among colleagues and friends in the mechanical engineering community.
