𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐍𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐕𝐈𝐓𝐘 𝐎𝐅 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐁𝐋𝐄𝐒𝐒𝐄𝐃 𝐕𝐈𝐑𝐆𝐈𝐍 𝐌𝐀𝐑𝐘

On September 8, we joyfully celebrated the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, honoring the birth of the Mother of our Lord and reflecting on her life of humility, faith, and unwavering devotion to God.

With hearts filled with faith and reverence, our Altar Servers had the privilege of taking part in the celebration, serving faithfully and joining the procession in honor of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Through every step, may we continue to follow her example of obedience, humility, and love for Christ.

May the Blessed Virgin Mary continue to guide and intercede for us as we grow in faith and serve with joyful hearts. 🙏🏻💙

𝟐𝟗 𝐘𝐄𝐀𝐑𝐒 𝐎𝐅 𝐅𝐀𝐈𝐓𝐇, 𝐋𝐎𝐕𝐄, 𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐒𝐄𝐑𝐕𝐈𝐂𝐄

Today, we celebrate a beautiful milestone — the 29th Anniversary of Our Mother of Perpetual Help Parish in Babag 1, Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu.

For almost three decades, our parish has been more than just a place where we attend Mass. It has been a home where families come together, where prayers are shared, where celebrations are made, and where we find strength and hope in our faith.

From its humble beginnings, our parish has grown through the years because of the people who continue to serve, pray, and give their time and hearts to the community. Generation after generation, the devotion to 𝗢𝘂𝗿 𝗠𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝗣𝗲𝗿𝗽𝗲𝘁𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝗛𝗲𝗹𝗽 continues to bring us together and remind us to always put our trust in God.

As we celebrate 29 years, we look back with grateful hearts for everything God has blessed us with and for everyone who has been part of our parish journey.

May our parish continue to be a place of faith, unity, and love, and may 𝗢𝘂𝗿 𝗠𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝗣𝗲𝗿𝗽𝗲𝘁𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝗛𝗲𝗹𝗽 always guide and accompany us in the years to come.

A day filled with prayers, memories, and moments we’ll carry with us. On September 3, 2026, we came together as young servants of the Church for our pilgrimage to 𝗢𝘂𝗿 𝗟𝗮𝗱𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝗮𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗵, 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗼𝗻.

From the journey to the prayers we shared, every step reminded us why we serve—not just at the altar, but wherever God calls us to be.

May we keep growing in faith, serving with love, and walking together with Christ.

Taize Prayer | St. Tarcisius – August 2026

"In the gentle repetition of prayer, peace finds us."

On the 15th day of August 2026, we give thanks for the grace of gathering together in prayer through our Taizé Prayer in honor of St. Tarcisius.

Heartfelt appreciation to the Parish Youth Coordinating Council of OMPH Babag, our active altar servers, and all the active youth of the OMPH Church Cluster for your time, dedication, and wholehearted participation. May the silence, simplicity, and gentle repetition of Taizé prayer continue to lead us closer to Christ and inspire us to serve with joyful hearts. Thank you for your time, effort, and faithful service.

Today, we celebrates the Sacerdotal Anniversary of Fr. Jojo — a sacred milestone that honors his unwavering devotion to the priesthood. 🙏🕊️

Through the years, Fr. Jojo has exemplified what it means to be a true shepherd of Christ: actively leading, faithfully coordinating the life of the parish, and offering his time and heart with tireless generosity. His priestly ministry has been a beacon of hope and compassion, touching lives with every Mass, every word of counsel, and every quiet act of kindness.

On this blessed day, the community gives thanks for the gift of his vocation and prays for continued strength, grace, and joy in his journey of service.
