Saint Ephrem the Syrian was a deacon, poet, hymn writer, theologian, and teacher of the early Church. He wrote some of earliest Christian hymns which honored Mother Mary. Using his creativity and art, he emphasized Mary’s role in God’s plan of salvation and Mary’s relationship with Jesus Christ.

St. Ephrem is now a Doctor of the Church and remains as an inspiration for people who wants to communicate the faith through the beauty of creativity. He remains as an inspiration because of how he used and combined deep learning with humility and for showing how art can also lead people closer to God.

Saint Rita of Cascia is the patron saint of impossible causes, abused victims, and peacemakers. She remains to be a inspiration for trusting God’s providence and a courageous women who embodies the power of reconciliation and peace over vengeance.
