In a meaningful turnover ceremony held last March 18, 2026, Barkada Kontra Bisyo (BKB) proudly welcomed its newly elected set of student leaders—individuals committed to carrying forward the organization’s advocacy of promoting a healthy, disciplined, and vice-free lifestyle among learners. 🎓

This transition of leadership marks not just a change in positions, but a renewed commitment to service, responsibility, and active participation in building a stronger and more aware student community. Guided by the principles of leadership and peer influence, the new officers are ready to take initiative in empowering their fellow students to make informed and positive choices. 🤝

As they step into their roles, we recognize both the dedication of the outgoing officers and the potential of the incoming leaders to continue shaping a culture rooted in respect, accountability, and wellness. Together, they embody the spirit of unity and purpose that defines BKB. 🌟

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗴𝗮𝗺𝗲𝘀 𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝘆𝗲𝗱. 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝗮𝗿𝗲𝘄𝗲𝗹𝗹𝘀 𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝘀𝗮𝗶𝗱. 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝗽𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗱. 💖🕯️

It was more than just an event. 🙌It started with team building that reminded us what it actually feels like to be in this together, and it ended with a turning over ceremony that reminded us why this organization exists in the first place.

In between was a farewell that deserved more time than we gave it and an election that carried the 𝔀𝖊𝖎𝖌𝖍𝖙 𝖔𝖋 𝖊𝖛𝖊𝖗𝖞𝖙𝖍𝖎𝖓𝖌 𝖙𝖍𝖎𝗌 𝖔𝖗𝖌 𝖍𝖆𝗌 𝖇𝖚𝖎𝖑𝖙. 🗳️Every vote was a vote for what comes next. Every goodbye was a thank you in disguise.

The outgoing officers left something behind that cannot be replaced, only 𝒄𝒂𝒓𝒓𝒊𝒆𝒅 𝒇𝒐𝒓𝒘𝒂𝒓𝒅. To everyone who showed up, you were part of something that mattered. 🫂

🚨 The Junior Police Organization proudly held its first meeting on October 8, 2025! The gathering began with officer introductions and an inspiring overview of what it truly means to be part of the Junior Police family. Members learned about their roles, responsibilities, and the continuing duties from the turnover projects. To keep the energy high, an icebreaker brought everyone together—sparking laughter, teamwork, and new friendships.

The program then took an exciting turn as the organization officially transitioned to Barkada Kontra Bisyo, embracing its renewed advocacy and upcoming initiatives. The meeting wrapped up with a group photo, capturing the smiles and spirit of a team ready to make a difference. 💙👮

BOTTLE BANKS: Join the Solution!

Start Recycling Plastic Bottles.

Here’s how you can help:

✅Slot your plastic bottles into the Big Bottle Bank container near the Senior High School Canteen, which is used as a trash can.
✅ Tell your friends and classmates to recycle and chuck those plastic bottles into the Big Bottle Bank.
✅ Chuck all the plastic bottles you hoard in trash cans in your rooms into the Big Bottle Bank every Friday.

That way, we can do our bit to reduce the plastic pollution in our school. Each bottle makes a difference; and every effort to reuse brings us one step closer to a cleaner, greener world.

The 12-STEM Atom Batch Alunig initiated this project and passed it on to us. Now it’s our chance to continue the change.

Remember that small actions can have big results. Let’s keep plastics out of our oceans and give them new life through recycling.

PROJECT CIPHER: Zero-Waste Lunch Program
No plastic every Wednesday and Friday.
That means:
🚫 no plastic utensils
🚫 no plastic wrappers
🚫 no single-use plastic

We’ve got a borrow-and-return system for plates and bowls–easy, clean, and ready when you need it.

This project was started by the 12-STEM Neuron Batch Alunig and passed on to us. Now it’s our turn to keep it going.

Let’s help the planet!
Borrow if you need. Return with care.
Let’s make lunch a little lighter on the planet. 🌱

🚨The Junior Police Organization finally kicked off its first meeting last August 22, 2025. First off, the officers and members began with a fun icebreaker activity of getting to know each other to introduce each one of them to the other members of the organization. This was then followed by exciting games to build camaraderie with one another. Afterwards, the officers discussed the fundamentals and functions of the organization, giving members a deeper understanding of our goals and purpose. A productive and enjoyable start to what promises to be a meaningful journey together! 💙👮
