When we celebrate Independence Day, we remember the courage of those who sacrificed their lives to free our nation from foreign rule. They fought not just for a flag, a name, or a separate land, but for something far greater than we expected, they did not just fight for a piece of Land but the right of every Filipino to live with dignity, to have access to justice, and to build a future where hard work and integrity are noticed, valued and rewarded.

But, as we raise our flags and sing our National Anthems, we must also ask ourselves:

- ๐ธ๐ ๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ข ๐ ๐๐๐๐๐ข ๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐ ๐๐ ๐๐๐ ๐๐๐ก๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐?__________________________________________
Corruption has become the modern chains that threatens the freedom of our nation not just our kapwa filipino but every each individual affected by the corruption. It is the hidden force that diverts funds meant for education, hospitals, clean water, farmers, and roads into the pockets of the few. It is the system that rewards silence over truth. It turns public service into personal gain, and leaves the poorest among us bearing the heaviest burden. This is not freedomโit is the one that hinders our nation from reaching its full potential.

The Philippines ๐ต๐ญ is rich in its natural resources:
Energy sources:
*Marine biology
*Metallic minerals
*Non-metallic minerals
*Agricultural crops
*Forestry products

True independence is not simply freedom from foreign control. It is freedom from greed, freedom from dishonesty, and freedom from the abuse of power. It means living in a country where leaders serve the people, where public office is a public trust, not a private privilege of the unjust, and where every citizen, regardless of status, believes that fairness and justice are within reach and with them!.
Let this Independence Day be more than a holiday. Let it be a reminder that the fight for freedom did not end in world war ||. It continues today, in the choices we make. It lives in our refusal to accept wrongdoing.

We honor our heroes not just by remembering or celebrating their sacrifices and for winning, but by protecting the freedom they fought so hard for, so we can live as we do today. Wake up, and do not be blind anymore, together letโs build a nation where freedom is real and achievable, where opportunities are equal, and where corruption has no place. That is the true independence worth celebrating, worth defending, and worth passing on to the next generation.
