Strength in leadership starts with open collaboration and a shared vision! On June 30 2026, the Basak Main Cluster Officers and our vibrant youth members actively joined the Katipunan ng Kabataan (KK) / FYOB Assembly hosted by SK Basak for the 1st quarter of 2026.

This regular gathering served as an essential platform for our young leaders to sit down, sync up, and ensure that the voices of the youth continue to drive meaningful change in our community.

Excitement also filled the room as comprehensive preparations and updates were discussed for the highly anticipated SK Cup 2026! We are incredibly proud of our youth members for showing up, speaking out, and dedicating their time to building a more organized, active, and united Barangay Basak.

The road to the championship begins with ensuring a fair and exciting tournament for everyone! On June 28, 2026, the Basak Main Cluster officially conducted a comprehensive review of requirements for the selected and qualified players who will be competing in the upcoming SK Cup 2026.

Players from our 4 participating teams under the cluster gathered to have their documents checked and verified to guarantee full eligibility for the games ahead.

This rigorous screening process was meticulously handled by our SK Councilor In-Charge and our acting SK Chair, Hon. Mary Jane Bering, and our hardworking Sitio Presidents/Board of Directors (BODs) and Cluster Officers.

Last June 21, 2026, Basak Main actively participated in the vibrant LGBT Basak Pride Month Celebration 2026, turning the night into an unforgettable showcase of talent, unity, and empowerment.

We proudly represented India in the highly anticipated Dance Palabas competition, bringing energy, culture, and color to the stage. Adding to the excitement, two of our very own officers brought the house down in the spectacular "Barbie Girl" opening number!

We couldnโ€™t be prouder to have showcased the incredible creativity and passion of our LGBTQIA+ youth in Basak Main that night. This celebration is a powerful reminder of the beauty of living authentically and the strength found in our diverse community.

Protecting our community starts with a clean environment! Last June 15, 2026, the Basak Main Cluster took a proactive stand in line with Dengue Awareness Month by conducting a focused clean-up drive at Sitio Tangke (New Road).

This initiative was proudly spearheaded by a dedicated team of leaders, including Cluster President Francis Vistal, B.O.D. - Tangke Kenchin Gestopa, Cluster Auditor Tricie Marquez, Cluster P.I.O. - Internal Mary Clair Tajale, B.O.D. - San Vicente Ruscel Evangelio & FYOB In-Charge Ace Lee Bulda. We were also honored to have the support of SK Councilor Kim Estillore and FYOB President Jesselle Aรฑosa as we worked together to eliminate potential breeding grounds for mosquitoes.

Our health is our greatest wealth, and by maintaining the cleanliness of our surroundings, we are actively safeguarding every family in Barangay Basak from the threat of dengue. This effort reflects our commitment to collective action and public safety.
