Last June 21, 2026, Basak Main actively participated in the vibrant LGBT Basak Pride Month Celebration 2026, turning the night into an unforgettable showcase of talent, unity, and empowerment.

We proudly represented India in the highly anticipated Dance Palabas competition, bringing energy, culture, and color to the stage. Adding to the excitement, two of our very own officers brought the house down in the spectacular "Barbie Girl" opening number!

We couldnโ€™t be prouder to have showcased the incredible creativity and passion of our LGBTQIA+ youth in Basak Main that night. This celebration is a powerful reminder of the beauty of living authentically and the strength found in our diverse community.

Protecting our community starts with a clean environment! Last June 15, 2026, the Basak Main Cluster took a proactive stand in line with Dengue Awareness Month by conducting a focused clean-up drive at Sitio Tangke (New Road).

This initiative was proudly spearheaded by a dedicated team of leaders, including Cluster President Francis Vistal, B.O.D. - Tangke Kenchin Gestopa, Cluster Auditor Tricie Marquez, Cluster P.I.O. - Internal Mary Clair Tajale, B.O.D. - San Vicente Ruscel Evangelio & FYOB In-Charge Ace Lee Bulda. We were also honored to have the support of SK Councilor Kim Estillore and FYOB President Jesselle Aรฑosa as we worked together to eliminate potential breeding grounds for mosquitoes.

Our health is our greatest wealth, and by maintaining the cleanliness of our surroundings, we are actively safeguarding every family in Barangay Basak from the threat of dengue. This effort reflects our commitment to collective action and public safety.

The kitchen of love is officially back on the road! Last June 15, 2026, the Basak Main Cluster traveled to Sitio Kalubihan to celebrate their vibrant Sitio Fiesta with a special mission of service.

Proudly sponsored by the Basak Main Cluster, we spent the day in the spirit of Bayanihan, serving steaming bowls of hot porridge topped with crunchy chicharon to the local kids and hardworking commuters passing through the area.

This successful outreach was made possible through the hands that worked tirelessly behind the scenes, with special recognition to Kalubihan Youth Organization, Xavier Judd Oyao (B.O.D. - Kalubihan), our Cluster Adviser Chesser Kathlene Cayetano, and Gemar Orat (B.O.D. - Colo).

To the community of Sitio Kalubihan, thank you for welcoming us into your fiesta celebrations. We are honored to serve, to share, and to grow alongside you.

Our hearts are overflowing with pride and gratitude! Out of 7 hardworking clusters, the Basak Main League of Leaders (Basak Main Cluster) was officially awarded as the MOST OUTSTANDING CLUSTER during the FYOB Quarterly Recognition held last May 23 at Coco Seaview Resort in Asturias, Cebu!

This milestone is deeply personal, and we proudly dedicate this award to all Basak Main Youths and to our incredibly hardworking cluster officers who consistently go above and beyond without asking for anything in return.

We extend our deepest gratitude to the Federation of Youth Organizations of Basak (FYOB), the Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) of Basak, and the Barangay Basak Council for recognizing our endless efforts to create impactful, sustainable projects.

From the gritty mud of the campgrounds to the shores of Asturias, the Basak Summer Youth Camp 2.0 at Coco Seaview Resort wrapped up in the most epic way possible! Day 2 (May 23) was all about stepping out of our comfort zones and diving straight into the action.

Our youth officers and members pushed through intense, high-energy games on the ground and in the mud, proving that true resilience and teamwork shine brightest when things get messy.

The adventure didn't stop there when Day 3 (May 24) brought the perfect reward with a beautiful beach day filled with sun, sand, and deep reflection.

Looking back at where we started, it is amazing to see how much closer and more united the Basak Main Cluster has become over just one weekend.
