Good day, everyone!
We are Bachelor of Science in Psychology students from Cebu Technological University โ Argao Campus currently conducting our thesis study on the lived experiences of primary caregivers of children with hearing impairment. This study aims to explore how caregivers navigate communication, emotional connection, and caregiving challenges while raising their child.
We are currently looking for participants who meet the following criteria:
โ๏ธ A primary caregiver who has been consistently and directly involved in the childโs daily care, communication, and intervention-related decisions since early childhood
โ๏ธ Caring for a child aged 1โ6 years old
โ๏ธ The child has been clinically diagnosed with profound congenital hearing impairment (present since birth)
โ๏ธ The caregiver has only one child diagnosed with hearing impairment under their care
โ๏ธ Currently residing in Cebu
Interested participants will undergo a short screening process to confirm eligibility for the study.
Your participation would greatly contribute to a deeper understanding of the experiences, challenges, and insights of caregivers raising children with hearing impairment. Rest assured that all information shared will be treated with utmost confidentiality and will be used strictly for academic purposes only.
