A send-off ceremony was held on May 13, 2025, at the Agricultural Training Institute (ATI) in Diliman, Quezon City, for the latest batch of participants in the Filipino Young Farmers Training Program in Taiwan.

Among the selected participants are two proud representatives from Region 1, namely Ms. Shirley Malapira of Brgy. Sta. Cruz, Badoc, Ilocos Norte; andbMs. Juliet Mamuyac of Brgy. Namboongan, Sto. Tomas, La Union.

We extend our heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to all the participants as they embark on their 11-month agricultural journey in Taiwan. May this experience be enriching, transformative, and a step forward in shaping the future of Philippine agriculture!

This day honors the unity of 75 countries, including the Philippines, as we work together through the 4-H movement to empower youth and young farmers worldwide. Established to commemorate the first-ever Global 4-H Network World Conference in 2014, World 4-H Day represents the strength of our shared commitment to leadership and sustainable development. As part of the Global 4-H Network, the Federation of 4-H Club (Rural Youth) of the Philippines, Inc. stands proudly alongside nations like Korea in cultivating the next generation of leaders.

Yesterday, the 4-H Club made a significant impact during Day 2 of the 2024 Wet Season Lakbay Palay, hosted by DA-PhilRice Batac. The theme, "Bida ang Sama-sama para sa Masaganang BAGONG Pilipinas!" emphasized collaboration for a prosperous future in agriculture.

๐Ÿ€Members from ๐๐ข๐๐๐ข๐  ๐๐‡๐’ ๐Ÿ’-๐‡ ๐‚๐ฅ๐ฎ๐›, ๐ˆ๐ง๐š๐œ ๐Ÿ’-๐‡ ๐‚๐ฅ๐ฎ๐›, ๐š๐ง๐ ๐Œ๐Œ๐’๐”-๐‚๐€๐…๐’๐ƒ ๐Ÿ’-๐‡ ๐‚๐ฅ๐ฎ๐› actively participated in this event, showcasing their enthusiasm for modern farming techniques.

๐Ÿ‘จโ€๐ŸŒพOur federated officers, President ๐Œ๐š๐ซ๐ฏ๐ข๐ง ๐—๐š๐ฏ๐ข๐ž๐ซ ๐. ๐•๐ž๐š and Batac City Representative ๐Š๐ž๐ฏ๐ข๐ง ๐–๐ฒ๐ง๐ž ๐๐š๐ ๐š, served as resource speakers. They shared their inspiring farming journeys, highlighting how they started and the transformative power of agriculture. Their insights motivated fellow youth to explore opportunities within the 4-H community.

Additionally, guest speaker Mrs. ๐‚๐ก๐ซ๐ข๐ฌ๐ญ๐ข๐ง๐ž ๐‰๐จ๐ฒ ๐‘๐จ๐œ๐š๐ฉ๐จ๐ซ-๐’๐š๐ง๐ -๐ž๐ญ a former 4-H'r from Rosario, La Union, provided valuable perspectives on youth engagement in agriculture.

This event is a testament to the enduring impact of the 4-H program, fostering a passion for agriculture among youth. The engaging activities and discussions sparked interest in modern farming technologies, making agriculture appealing and accessible.

The 2024 Wet Season Lakbay Palay exemplifies the spirit of cooperation and innovation in agriculture. Thanks to DA-PhilRice Batac for this initiative, and we can't wait to have more 4-H'rs join your programs and activities.
