𝑨 𝑳𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒕 𝑻𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝑩𝒖𝒓𝒏𝒆𝒅 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝑳𝒐𝒗𝒆

Candles melt as they shine, losing themselves to give light. In every drop that falls, there is a silent surrender, a quiet offering that asks for nothing in return. So did He, choosing to be consumed by suffering, not for His own sake, but for ours. And in that sacred, unspoken sacrifice, when darkness seemed to win, His love became our dawn, soft, steady, and everlasting.

And in the end, the flame that once trembled in sorrow will rise in glory, unextinguished, undefeated. For just as the night could not hold back the morning, the grave could not hold Him. He will rise again, and with Him, a promise: that every ending carries the seed of resurrection, and every fading light is only the beginning of something eternal.

𝑬𝒂𝒔𝒕𝒆𝒓 𝑺𝒖𝒏𝒅𝒂𝒚 rises like a gentle dawn after a long, aching night, light slowly finding its way into hearts that once held only silence. 𝗙𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘁𝗼𝗺𝗯, 𝗵𝗼𝗽𝗲 𝗮𝘄𝗮𝗸𝗲𝗻𝘀, 𝘀𝗼𝗳𝘁 𝘆𝗲𝘁 𝗰𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻, 𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝗯𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗵 𝗮𝗳𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗯𝗮𝗰𝗸 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀.

𝗛𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗲𝗻. And in those words, everything changes, like darkness giving way to light, like a sealed grave opening into endless life. It is a love that did not end at the cross, but chose to bloom through pain, like a seed buried deep, breaking open just to bring life.

This 𝐆𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐅𝐫𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐲, we enter into a sacred silence, where the depth of love is revealed not in words, but in sacrifice.

With one of the biggest delegations in the parade, NWU Nursing Students showed that unity, perseverance, and heart cannot be ignored. Every step was a statement: we are here, and we are proud to be Northwesternians.
