Timpuyog on Health Education:Kalusugan Pangalagaan, Kalikasan Pagyamanin🌱

In Brgy. 42 Apaya, Laoag City, students of BSN 1B and BSN 1H came together to promote health and environmental awareness through meaningful community engagement.

The initiative focused on strengthening everyday practices—proper hygiene routines, awareness of common ailments, responsible waste management, and environmental sanitation. The activity also included beautification efforts through the planting of calamansi and ornamental plants, leaving a lasting impact on the community.

A shared step toward healthier lives and a greener environment—because caring for people and nature goes hand in hand. 💚

Students from BSHM-CM1B and BS Psychology spent the day at Brgy. 35 Gabu Sur, Laoag City—not just to serve, but to connect.

From cleaning the coastline to sharing meaningful conversations during the GASAT seminar, the day was filled with simple yet impactful actions. Every piece of trash collected and every idea shared became part of a bigger goal: caring for the environment while strengthening understanding within the community.

A day of effort, learning, and genuine connection—because small actions, when done together, create lasting change. 💙

Timpuyog in action 🤝

The first-year students of BSPT 1A, BSN 1C, and BSMLS 1B came together in Caaocan, Laoag City for a meaningful Community Extension Program focused on Health Education Awareness. Through shared knowledge and service, they empowered the community with essential skills in proper posture, effective handwashing, basic bandaging, and life-saving techniques in Basic Life Support.

More than just learning, it was a day of collaboration, compassion, and commitment to healthier communities. 💙

Learning beyond the classroom 📚✨

In Caaoacan, Laoag City, the students of BSHM 1B and BSHM-CM 1C applied their culinary knowledge through a hands-on cooking demonstration, while BEED 1A carried out a meaningful literacy activity with the children.

An extension of academic learning into real-life service where knowledge is shared, skills are practiced, and communities are empowered.
