Inihayag ng DOST-PAGASA noong April 22, 2026 na nasa El Niño Alert na ang bansa. Ibig sabihin, paparating na ang El Niño kung saan inaasahan itong magsisimula sa pagitan ng Hunyo hanggang Agosto 2026.

Sa ganitong sitwasyon, nagiging mainit ang kapaligiran at madalang ang pag-ulan, kaya mataas ang panganib na magkaroon ng heat-related illnesses. Alamin sa social media card na ito kung paano protektahan ang iyong sarili at pamilya.

Mahalagang paalala ng DOH: Magkakaroon pa rin ng mga ulan, hindi lang kasing dalas ng dati sa ganitong mga buwan ng taon.

The Municipal Health Office of Lanuza proudly celebrates the successful conduct of our Free Chest X-Ray Activity in partnership with Alay Buhay Foundation, serving a total of 120 beneficiaries from our community.

This initiative is part of our continuing commitment to strengthen tuberculosis (TB) prevention, early detection, and treatment efforts in Lanuza. Through accessible screening services, we are able to identify individuals who may need further evaluation and treatment, helping prevent the spread of TB and protecting the health of our families and communities.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Alay Buhay Foundation, our healthcare workers, barangay officials, volunteers, and all participants who contributed to the success of this activity. Your support brings us one step closer to a healthier and TB-free Lanuza.

Together, we can end TB through early detection, timely treatment, and community cooperation.

📢 FREE CHEST X-RAY SCREENING FOR TUBERCULOSIS (TB) DETECTION 📢

Your health matters! Join us for a FREE Chest X-ray Screening to help detect Tuberculosis (TB) early and protect yourself, your family, and our community.

🗓 Date: June 4, 2026 (Thursday)
⏰ Time: 8:00 AM onwards
📍 Venue: Surfcamp Covered Court

✅ Open to community members, especially those who:

* Have a cough lasting 2 weeks or more
* Experience unexplained weight loss
* Have fever or night sweats
* Have been in close contact with a TB patient
* Simply want to know the condition of their lungs

Early detection saves lives. TB is curable, and finding it early helps prevent its spread to others.

📣 We encourage everyone to participate and invite family members, friends, and neighbors to attend.
