DICT Provides Free Wi-Fi to Ayangan NAVHS with Support from Local Clubs
PONGHAL, LAGAWE, IFUGAO – Behind the successful installation of free Wi-Fi at Ayangan National Agricultural and Vocational High School (ANAVHS) are the Rotary Club of Lamut and the Matangili Rock Eagles Club, whose collaborative efforts made the project a reality.
This initiative, driven by a request from ANAVHS, was implemented by the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) of the Province of Ifugao thru Mr. Donald C. Trinidad, the Provincial Officer. The clubs played a crucial role in facilitating the process, from coordinating with DICT to ensuring the timely completion of the project.
The Rotary Club of Lamut and the Matangili Rock Eagles Club highlighted their shared commitment to community development, emphasizing that the project underscores their dedication to improving access to technology and education in rural areas.
The newly installed Wi-Fi has already begun benefiting the school’s students and staff, enhancing e-learning and communication capabilities. The school expressed gratitude to the clubs for their unwavering support and to DICT for enabling this vital connectivity.
This collaborative effort stands as a shining example of how community organizations can work together to create meaningful impact.
