Today, we remember. Today, we honor.

81 years ago in Kiangan, Ifugao, the last chapter of World War II in the Philippines was closed and peace was restored.

We pay tribute to the courage of our veterans, our ancestors, and every Ifugao who fought for freedom. Your sacrifice is our history, your bravery is our pride.

May we never forget the cost of peace and may we continue to uphold the freedom you fought for.

WHAT: CWTS 1st Clean-Up Drive Activity

WHEN: September 12, 2026, 7:30 AM

WHERE: Assembly at the IFSU Main Campus Oval near the stage. Activity proper will be around campus.

WHAT TO BRING & PREPARE:

πŸ“Œ Sacks: 2 mandatory sacks per section

πŸ“Œ Bolos: 5 assigned students per section. (Class Captains, please submit the list of these 5 students directly to me.)

Note: All bolos must be covered with paper or carton for safety.

πŸ“Œ Cleaning Tools: The rest of the class should bring cleaning materials such as hard brooms, rakes, and dustpans. (Tools will be checked and additional points will be given.)

πŸ“Œ Personal Items: Bring your own cleaning gloves, water tumbler, and snacks.

REMINDERS:

1. Start of checking of attendance: 7:30 AM sharp. Latecomers may not be recorded.

2. Assembly Area: Oval near the stage. Please proceed directly there.

3. Wear appropriate clothing and closed-toe shoes. Crop tops and shorts are strictly prohibited.

4. Handle tools with care and follow safety instructions from facilitators.

The CWTS - Society of Student Volunteers of the National Service Training Program (NSTP) conducted a cash donation drive for students of the CASD who were affected by a recent fire incident.

Cash donations were officially handed over to the representative of CASD officers; Future Forester, Agriculturist and Entrepreneur of the Philippines (FFAEP) through Ms. Meriefel Vila, Ms. Ronavic Palicpic, and Ms. Renz Nicole Tuguinay.

The cash donation drive aimed to provide essential items to the students who lost personal belongings in the fire. Through the initiative, the CWTS SSV gathered and sent cash donations that could help them for a new start.

The collection of donations was carried out through the participation, cooperation, efforts and willingness of the CWTS students, and class representative/class captains to help those in need.

The CWTS continues to uphold its commitment to civic welfare and student service through initiatives that respond to the needs of the community.

The CWTS-SSV Officers proudly joined the IFSU Student Leaders' Convergence 2026: Election of Federation Officers and Mass Oath-taking Ceremony of Student Organization Leaders, bringing together with student leaders from the different campuses of Ifugao State University (IFSU)β€”Lagawe, Potia, Lamut, Tinoc, Hapao, and Aguinaldo.

During the gathering, University President Dr. Freddie B. Caday shared an inspirational message and words of encouragement, reminding the officers of the importance of responsible leadership, unity, and dedicated service.

The officers also took part in the oath-taking ceremony, formally pledging their commitment to uphold their duties and serve with integrity and accountability.

It was a meaningful gathering filled with unity, teamwork, learning, and inspiration. May this experience strengthen our commitment to serve, lead, and work together for the betterment of the IFSU community.

All NSTP–CWTS students are hereby invited to attend the Oath Taking and Presentation of By-Laws, a significant event that marks the official induction of our newly elected officers and the presentation of the organization's governing policies for the academic year.

πŸ•’ Time: 7:00 AM – 12:00 PM

This program serves as an opportunity to formally welcome our new student leaders and to familiarize all members with the by-laws that will guide the organization in promoting discipline, teamwork, leadership, and active participation throughout the year.

We encourage everyone to be present, arrive on time, and observe proper decorum during the entire program. Your attendance and cooperation are highly appreciated as we begin another meaningful year of service and learning together. Bring your own snacks and drinking water to stay hydrated and energized throughout the program.

To everyone who had the courage to run for an NSTP-CWTS officer position but wasn't elected, you did great.

Stepping forward to serve is already a victory in itself. While the results may not have gone your way, your willingness to lead, your dedication, and your heart to serve are truly appreciated.

Remember, leadership is not defined by a title but by the impact you make through your actions. Continue supporting the organization, keep serving others, and never stop believing in what you can contribute.
