On 13 December 2025, the Hardam Furigay Colleges Foundation, Inc. Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC) participated in a Blood Donation Activity held at the headquarters of the 18th Infantry (Deo et Patria) Battalion in Barangay Campo, Uno, Lamitan City, Basilan. The ROTC cadets actively joined the activity as volunteer donors, demonstrating their commitment to humanitarian service and their willingness to help save lives through blood donation. 💙💛💪🏼

On November 16, 2025, the Hardam Furigay Colleges Foundation, Inc. ROTC Unit advance officers and cadets participated in a Color Fun Run Activity in line with the National Drug Abuse Prevention and Control Week 2025, carrying the theme:
“Sa Bagong Pilipinas, Kalusugan ay Pinapahalagahan, Droga ay Inaayawan.”

Joining fun runs offers numerous benefits for officers and cadets. It promotes physical and mental wellness, encourages healthy lifestyles, and strengthens community involvement and social responsibility—values that reflect the true spirit of service and discipline.

📸 In photos: On November 9, 2025, The HARDAM FURIGAY COLLEGES FOUNDATION INCORPORATED ROTC Unit successfully held its ROTC Formation under the supervision of the Graduate Military Assistants (GMA's) and Advance ROTC Officers. The event served as an essential refresher to strengthen the cadets’ understanding and ex*****on of fundamental military commands.

Through this initiative, cadets not only enhanced their leadership and self-discipline but also developed a strong foundation in the essential techniques and protocols of military drills and command ex*****on.

Throughout the activity, the cadets assisted in organizing and facilitating various programs designed to promote leadership, unity, and responsibility among the participants.

The event was successfully conducted, fostering stronger camaraderie and cooperation between the ROTC cadets and the Scouts. No untoward incidents were reported during the activity.

BOMB AWARENESS SEMINAR PARTICIPATION

October 11, 2025

The Hardam Furigay Colleges Foundation Inc. Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC) Unit actively participated in a Bomb Awareness Seminar held on October 11, 2025. The seminar aimed to enhance the cadets’ knowledge and preparedness in situations involving explosive devices and to raise awareness about the potential dangers posed by bomb explosions, which can lead to loss of lives and property damage.

During the session, participants were oriented on the different types of explosive devices, their possible locations, and the proper procedures to follow when encountering suspicious objects. The discussion emphasized the importance of vigilance, immediate reporting, and coordination with proper authorities to ensure safety and prevent casualties.

The event was successfully conducted with the active participation of all cadets. The knowledge and awareness gained from this activity are valuable in promoting safety, readiness, and discipline among ROTC members during potential emergency situations.

No untoward incidents were reported during the activity.

The Hardam Furigay Colleges Foundation, Inc. Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC) Unit, together with criminology students, joined the International River and Coastal Cleanup Day 2025, part of the global International Coastal Cleanup (ICC). This worldwide initiative, observed on September 20, is the largest volunteer effort for ocean health and includes cleanup activities in rivers, lakes, and waterways.

The event fosters community collaboration and raises awareness about environmental conservation and the importance of collective action in protecting our water bodies and the environment.

We are pleased to take part in the Clean-Up Drive at Brgy. Malinis (Creek) Lamitan City Basilan.
