The Christmas season shines as brightly as the guiding star. On December 9, 2025, the DENR Forest Management Bureau held its awarding ceremony at the Centro Turismo de Intramuros, where “HANDONG” was officially announced as the champion.

With pride and honor, Sine Mari-it celebrates another remarkable achievement, having secured the championship title in the DENR’s ForeSTAR competition, along with three minor awards. Carrying with us the esteemed name of our institution — West Visayas State College of Agriculture and Forestry — we proudly present our short film entry, “HANDONG.”

The long-anticipated day has dawned for every aspiring agriculturist, as the results of the 2025 Agriculture Licensure Examination have finally been unveiled. From 9,742 hopefuls, 6,678 emerged victorious, carrying with them the triumph of perseverance. Among this remarkable number, 68 proud graduates hail from the West Visayas State University – College of Agriculture and Forestry. And within this circle of achievers stands Ms. Janyn Eve H. Lauron and Mr. Mike Luke L. Losaria.

Congratulations to Ms. Janyn Eve Lauron, the visionary co-founder and former Information and Communications Head of Sine Mari-it, whose success shines as both a personal milestone and a beacon for the community she helped build. And for serving as a beacon of inspiration to this organization.

Congratulations to Mr. Mike Luke Losaria, former Multimedia Officer of Sine Mari-it. Your invaluable contributions helped shape the organization into its current excellence. As you begin a new journey, the organization will always celebrate your achievements and support your future endeavors.
