The Lambunao Community Red Cross Youth Council is now recruiting aspiring youth volunteers for the Youth Volunteer Formation Course (YVFC) 2026!

This two-day training is designed to equip young individuals with the knowledge, skills, and values needed in volunteerism, humanitarian service, disaster preparedness, and emergency response.

👥 Open to ages 7–30 years old

Another month, another opportunity to learn, lead, and serve! ✨ Last June 13, the Municipality of Lambunao Community Red Cross Youth Council successfully conducted its 2nd Monthly Meeting at the Brgy. Hall of Poblacion Ilawod, Lambunao, Iloilo, with 27 members in attendance.

The meeting served as a platform to discuss upcoming activities, share ideas, and strengthen camaraderie among young volunteers. More than just a meeting, it was a reminder that through teamwork and compassion, we can create meaningful change in our community.

Together, we continue to serve with purpose and lead with heart. ❤️🌟

🧠❤️ 𝗔𝗱𝘃𝗼𝗰𝗮𝗰𝘆 𝗧𝗮𝗹𝗸 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲‼️

On June 11, 2026, the Lambunao Community RCY, in partnership with the 𝐏𝐮𝐠𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐧 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥–𝐒𝐒𝐋𝐆, successfully conducted an Advocacy Talk 𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗱 𝗯𝘆 207 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗮𝗻𝘁𝘀.

The activity focused on Mental Health Awareness, Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS), and Child Protection Policy, aiming to equip learners with knowledge and awareness on the importance of mental well-being, emotional support, and creating safe spaces for children and youth.

The session was facilitated by 𝙁𝙧𝙚𝙣𝙯𝙞𝙚 𝘼𝙣𝙣 𝘾𝙖𝙗𝙪𝙣𝙖𝙜𝙖𝙣, Youth Disseminator, and 𝙁𝙖𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝘿𝙖𝙣𝙣𝙖 𝘿𝙚 𝙡𝙖 𝙋𝙚ñ𝙖, Assistant Youth Disseminator, who shared valuable insights and encouraged meaningful discussions among the participants.

The Lambunao Community RCY extends its heartfelt gratitude to the administration of Pughanan Integrated School, the SSLG officers, faculty members, and all 207 participants for their warm welcome, active participation, and support in making this activity a success.
