BRINGING FILIPINO CULTURE TO LIFE THROUGH INNOVATION, RESOURCEFULNESS, AND HEART ❤️🇵🇭

As the Bible reminds us, “What is in your hand?” Whatever we have, no matter how simple or limited, can become something meaningful when we use it with purpose.

The Foundation, together with our inspiring interns from North Central Mindanao College in collaboration with our very supportive San Manuel Punong Barangay, Barangay Councilors, and the PWD Association led by President Jong, successfully initiated a simple yet meaningful skills-training activity that celebrates and revives a part of our Filipino culture—traditional weaving.

What makes this initiative truly special is the creativity and resourcefulness behind it. Without a large budget, the interns learned to make use of available and recyclable materials such as recycled nails, paper, cardboard, used clothing, and scrap wood. Through simple initiatives and a lot of creativity, materials that might otherwise be discarded were transformed into something useful and meaningful.

It may be a small and simple act, but it carries a powerful message:

Every blessing requires hard work, patience, and perseverance. We do not always need expensive materials to create something valuable. Sometimes, we simply need to recognize what is already in our hands and use it wisely.

More than teaching skills, this initiative aims to build confidence, develop entrepreneurial skills, promote livelihood opportunities, and remind our PWD community that they matter, they are valued, and they are loved.

Seeing our volunteers and PWD participants learn, create, and believe in their own abilities is already a fulfilling achievement. ❤️

Our deepest appreciation goes to the dedicated interns of North Central Mindanao College,supportive San Manuel Barangay officials, brgy San Manuel PWD Association, and everyone who contributed to making this initiative possible, under the guidance and monitoring of the ACT Foundation focal person Ms. Ayee.

We continue to pray that this small beginning will grow into a sustainable livelihood opportunity—one that not only provides income but also preserves Filipino culture, strengthens skills, builds dignity, and empowers people to believe in what they can do🤩🎉🇵🇭

Scholars and volunteers from ACT Foundation joined the NCMC Elementary Department in celebrating Nutrition Month! 🎉🍦🥖

Ice cream and pandesal were served to the happy and enthusiastic pupils as they enjoyed participating in various presentations and activities, together with their supportive parents and teachers.

Thank you to our dedicated scholars and volunteers for another meaningful and fulfilling service. Your time, effort, and willingness to serve continue to make a difference in our community. ❤️
