LAFCCOD, Inc., through the ACTIVE Project, successfully conducted a Solid Waste Management Seminar for the members of the WEM-RIC People's Organization in Barangay Lower Bayao! This activity emphasizes our shared commitment to keeping our coastal environments clean, healthy, and resilient. We are deeply grateful for the active participation and strong leadership of the Lower Bayao Barangay Captain and Barangay Kagawads who joined the session. Special thanks also to our VSO Project Officer from the ACTIVE Project for providing guidance and support during the seminar. Together with WEM-RIC and our local leaders, we are turning environmental awareness into local community action!

Civil Society Groups Empowered at Solid Waste Management Seminar and Exposure Visit. Representatives from various Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) attended a comprehensive Solid Waste Management Seminar and Exposure Visit at the Waste Processing Center in Sultan Naga Dimaporo (SND), Lanao del Norte. The initiative aimed to help participants understand sustainable waste practices and encourage them to recover more resources through advanced waste segregation and recycling. By seeing the facility's operations firsthand, community leaders are better equipped to champion waste reduction and environmental stewardship in their areas.
