The Culminating Activity entitled ๐๐ง๐ฌ๐ฉ๐ข๐ซ๐๐ ๐๐ฒ ๐๐ซ๐๐๐ฆ๐ฌ, ๐๐๐ซ๐ค๐๐ ๐๐ฒ ๐๐ซ๐จ๐ฐ๐ญ๐ก with a theme, "A Celebration of Learning, Service, and Development in Hospital Dietetics Practicumโ became a beautiful reflection of the journey of the BSND Student Intern who spent months learning, serving, and growing within the halls of Nutrition and Dietetics Department of Bicol Medical Center.
It started with a Holy Mass, grounding the event in gratitude and faith at the BMC Chapel. The program formally opened with a heartfelt opening remark from ๐๐ฌ. ๐๐๐ง๐ ๐. ๐๐ข๐ฎ๐๐๐๐๐ง๐จ, ๐๐๐, Head of the Medical Social Work Department, whose warm words welcomed everyone into a celebration centered on gratitude, growth, and meaningful service. Her message reminded the BSND interns to value every experience, every lesson, and every person they encountered throughout their practicum journey โจ
We were also deeply honored by the presence of our Guest Speaker, ๐๐ฌ. ๐๐ฐ๐ฒ๐ง๐๐ญ๐ก ๐
. ๐๐ฎ๐ง๐ข๐จ๐ง, ๐๐๐, whose inspirational message reminded everyone to continue pursuing their dreams with passion, humility, resilience, and purpose.
One of the most touching parts of the event was the ๐๐ฐ๐๐ซ๐๐ข๐ง๐ ๐จ๐ ๐๐๐๐จ๐ ๐ง๐ข๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง๐ฌ ๐๐จ๐ซ ๐๐จ๐ฌ๐ฉ๐ข๐ญ๐๐ฅ ๐๐ข๐๐ญ๐๐ญ๐ข๐๐ฌ ๐๐ซ๐๐๐ญ๐ข๐๐ฎ๐ฆ, where the hard work, dedication, and growth of the student interns were recognized and celebrated. But beyond the scheduled program, an unforgettable surprise awaited the interns. Through the thoughtfulness and love of ๐๐โ๐๐ฆ ๐๐ก๐จ๐๐๐ ๐๐ฏ๐๐ง๐ ๐๐ฅ๐ข๐ฌ๐ญ๐, ๐๐๐, and ๐๐โ๐๐ฆ ๐๐ข๐ญ๐ญ๐๐ฅ ๐๐๐ซ๐๐ฏ๐ข๐ฅ๐ฅ๐, ๐๐๐, special certificates and meaningful gifts were personally prepared for the internsโa heartfelt recognition of their individual journeys, sacrifices, quiet victories, and growth throughout the internship. It became a deeply emotional moment that reminded the interns that every challenge they overcame and every effort they gave was seen, appreciated, and valued๐ค
Another symbolic and heartfelt moment of the program was the ๐๐๐ ๐๐ฌ ๐จ๐ ๐๐ข๐ฌ๐๐จ๐ฆ: ๐๐ก๐ ๐๐๐ฌ๐ฌ๐ข๐ง๐ ๐๐จ๐ฐ๐ง ๐จ๐ ๐ญ๐ก๐ ๐๐ก๐๐ซ๐ฉ๐๐ง๐๐ ๐๐๐ง๐๐ข๐ฅ. More than just a simple gesture, the sharpened pencil represents the knowledge, wisdom, experiences, and life lessons that the Nutritionist-Dietitians gained throughout their professional journeysโlessons that they wholeheartedly passed on to the BSND Student Interns as they prepare to take their own path toward the Nutritionist-Dietitian Licensure Examination and future profession. This touching tradition became a beautiful symbol of mentorship, trust, hope, and the passing of wisdom from one generation of future Nutritionist-Dietitians to the nextโ๏ธ
The event also became even more meaningful through the sincere Message of Gratitude shared by ๐๐โ๐๐ฆ ๐๐๐๐ง๐ ๐๐๐ง๐๐ซ๐ ๐. ๐๐ ๐๐ข๐ญ๐ญ๐, ๐๐๐, ๐๐๐๐, whose words reflected appreciation and pride for the interns who continuously strived to learn and serve with compassion. This was followed by the inspiring message of ๐๐ซ. ๐๐ก๐ข๐ซ๐ฅ๐๐ง๐ ๐. ๐๐ฌ๐ฉ๐ฅ๐๐ง๐, whose wisdom and encouragement reminded everyone to continue carrying the values of excellence, humility, and service as future Nutritionist-Dietitians.

From moments of pressure and exhaustion to moments of achievement and joy, she stood beside the students with unwavering support and encouragement. Her kindness, motherly presence, and dedication left a lasting impact on every intern, making the practicum experience feel not only educational, but also deeply meaningful and personal.
