Yesterday, March 17, 2025, the CNSC- Labo Campus successfully celebrated Women's Month through a series of meaningful activities aimed at empowering and supporting women within our community. The event kicked off with a flag ceremony that set a solemn tone for the day. This was followed by a heartfelt Eucharistic Mass, attended by faculty, non-teaching staff, and students of the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources (CANR), fostering a sense of unity and reflection on the significance of women in our lives.
The celebration began with the opening remarks by our Campus Diector Dr. Arden Peejay L. Ezaki, who set an inspiring messages emphasizing the importance of recognizing and supporting women in all spheres of life.
A seminar entitled "Managing and Supporting Parental Stress from Pregnancy Until Birth" was held and discussed by our Guest Speaker Shallah Rica E. Mancenido, a Registered Nurse. The seminar provided valuable insights into the challenges that expectant mothers face, offering practical advice and emotional support strategies to manage stress during pregnancy and childbirth.
The event concluded with closing remarks from GAD (Gender and Development) Coordinator Jessa D. Miraran, who highlighted the importance of continuous support for women and the promotion of mental and physical well-being.
To express gratitude to the faculty and staff, the celebration also included a pampering session where they were treated to a full-body signature massage, allowing them to relax and unwind after a productive month.
