(CTM) is an online series spearheaded by the PEER Advocates as part of their advocacy that is grounded on five crucial pillars: This February, along with UP ISIP as its main collaborator, we present the first segment of the CTM series that is centered on mental health, namely โ

ABOUT: Mental health is just as important as physical health, yet many individuals hesitate to seek the support they need due to stigma, misconceptions, or lack of awareness.
This session aims to break those barriers by promoting a culture where seeking help for mental health concerns is seen as a normal and essential part of well-being. We will discuss the importance of early intervention, how recognizing and addressing mental health concerns early can prevent more serious challenges, and how mental health conditions are legitimate medical concerns that require appropriate care. Additionally, we will increase awareness of the various mental health services availableโwho provides them, how they can help, and how to access support.
By the end of this session, we hope to create a more informed, compassionate, and proactive community that supports mental well-being and encourages help-seeking without fear or stigma. We look forward to a meaningful discussion! See you on February 12!
(Information about the speakers will follow. Stay tuned!)
