On September 12, 2026, the Dive Into Youth Organization had the privilege of participating in KADWA 2026: “Understanding Gender, Embracing Identity, Building Inclusive Communities,” held at Focus Cafe. The event provided a meaningful and eye-opening space for youth leaders and community members to engage in thoughtful discussions on gender awareness, identity, and our shared responsibility to create safe and inclusive environments for everyone.

We extend our sincerest gratitude to SK Poblacion–La Trinidad for organizing this impactful activity and bringing the event to life. We also express our heartfelt appreciation to the distinguished guest speakers who generously shared their time, knowledge, and valuable insights. Your words left a lasting impression on our team and reminded us of the importance of continuous learning, empathy, and understanding in community leadership.

Moving forward, the Dive Into Youth Organization remains inspired to continue listening, advocating, and taking meaningful action toward building a society where every individual feels seen, respected, and included. ✨🌈

In celebration of Linggo ng Kabataan 2026, the Dive Into Youth Org successfully helped facilitate the Youth Summit, with the theme “IKAW (Igniting Key Actions for the World): Ang Pag-asa ng Bayan,” held last September 2, 2026, at the Km5 Municipal Gymnasium.
Despite the cold and rainy weather, the event was attended by students and teachers from different schools, as well as youth leaders from different barangays, who all contributed to the success of the event.

From registration, hosting, technical support, and audience engagement to providing assistance throughout the overall duration of the program, it was an honor for the Dive Into Youth Org to be part of this initiative to inspire and empower the youth. Alongside the Sangguniang Kabataan and other government agencies that worked hard for the implementation of this long-awaited assembly of youth, another history was made.

We are truly grateful to our valuable guest speakers: Dr. Sheridan Athena Y. Gajete, Northern Luzon Head of the National Youth Commission; Mr. Brian Mamamril, Representative of Inv8 Studio; Atty. Apolinario A. Bagano Jr. of the Olongapo Legal Office; Ms. Carla Stephanie Tilap, our Miss La Trinidad 2026; Mr. Artemio John Arena, our Mister La Trinidad 2026; and to everyone who supported and contributed to the success of this event.

To everyone who made this gathering possible, thank you for allowing us to be part of an initiative that celebrates, inspires, and empowers the youth. May we continue to ignite key actions and be the hope of our nation.👏💙

“The Youth of Today Are Leaders for Tomorrow” — Nelson Mandela

On August 21, 2026, the Dive Into the Youth attended the Linggo ng Kabataan Health and Wellness Summit 2026 at the Barangay Hall, Salud Mitra, Baguio City. The event was facilitated by the Family Planning Organization of the Philippines (FPOP) and the Anxiety and Depression Support Group (ADSG).

With warm greetings, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to our speakers and trainers for making this event meaningful and educational.

To Sir Roger G. Gutlay, who taught us the basics of Sign Language, from alphabet letters, numbers, greetings, and family members' names to other phrases that could help us communicate with people who are unable to hear.

To Ma’am Eubelle M. Agpes, who shared valuable lessons and insights about Psychological First Aid (PFA), along with Ma’am Jelly Y. Bondad, who helped us understand how PFA is applied in real-life situations.

To Ma’am Emilyn G. Cadio, Sir Mx. Paul Brian Baldoza, and John Marlon Gabrino, for educating us on adolescence, responsibility, gender-based violence, the Safe Spaces Act, reproductive health education, and teenage pregnancy prevention.

As leaders of our community, we envision a change for the better, and that change starts from within us. By joining events that educate and empower us, we are molded to become future leaders with strong compassion and the ability to influence others to make better decisions. We are equipped to help and serve those who are in need. Most especially, we create spaces where leaders work together to make that dream of a better community happen.

Another day full of learning, growth and connection.

The empowered youths of the Dive Into the Youth Organization, represented by:

Ezekiel Anniban
Jilian Bugnay
Jerwin Guisala
Angeleen Buyagawan
Suzanne Destiny Pacdit
Zyrine Densen
JM Gabrino

attended the Local Youth Leadership Assembly (LYLA) conducted by the Family Planning Organization of the Philippines (FPOP) at the Agricultural Training Institute (ATI-CAR), KM 5, La Trinidad, Benguet, this August 16, 2026.

With fun activities, inspiring stories, and opportunities to meet new people, the event was a meaningful experience for all of us. Through discussions on topics such as liberty, we learned how our voices as youths are significant in contributing to a better community.

In addition, gaining insights from the experiences of our fellow young leaders from FPOP made us understand how important youth participation is. By joining different community activities, we not only gain knowledge, experiences, and a better understanding of our society, but we also contribute to empowering others, serving our communities, and helping those who are in need.

Indeed, every opportunity to learn, connect, and participate is another step toward becoming empowered young leaders who can make a difference in our community. 🤍

In times of hardship, bayanihan reminds us that no one has to face challenges alone. On August 11, 2026, the Dive Into Youth Organization, in collaboration with Akbayan Youth Baguio and Timpuyog Organization, came together to extend our support to communities affected by Typhoons Luis and Maymay.

We were able to visit and distribute donations to three barangays in Baguio City, namely Guisad Surong, San Luis Village, and Dominican Hill-Mirador. Through the generosity of our donors, we were able to provide cookies, water, juice, lugaw, rice meals, school supplies, slippers, and clothing to affected families and individuals.

This initiative was made possible through the dedication of the Dive Into Youth officers and youth volunteers from different organizations who willingly gave their time and effort to make this donation drive possible. From preparing and organizing the donations to personally distributing them to the communities, every helping hand became part of this meaningful effort.

Donation Transparency:

We are grateful to share that a total of ₱4,457.50 in monetary donations was collected for this initiative. The funds were allocated as follows:

₱1,000 – Car gasoline
₱470 – Car rental
₱480 – 24 bottled waters
₱2,507. 50– 100 bottled waters, 120 pieces of juice, and 120 biscuits

Every peso was used to help provide essential needs and make this donation drive possible. To our partner organizations, volunteers, donors, and everyone who became part of this initiative, thank you for helping us turn compassion into action. Every contribution, no matter how big or small, has helped us bring comfort and support to our fellow Baguio residents. Maraming salamat po sa inyong malasakit at pakikiisa!

But our mission does not end here. Dive Into Youth is still accepting in-kind donations and monetary contributions to help us reach more individuals and families who continue to be affected by the typhoons. We will continue this donation drive and extend our support to communities who are still in need.

Today, the Dive Into Youth Organization proudly participated in the Youth Peace Convergence 2026 held at the CDRRMO Baguio City as part of the Linggo ng Kabataan 2026 celebration, through the invitation of the Youth for Peace – Baguio Chapter.

With the theme, “Transformative Attitudes Through Leadership and Nation-building for Advocates of Peace,” the seminar-workshop equipped young leaders, volunteers, and peace advocates with valuable knowledge and practical insights on promoting peace and responsible leadership.

We were inspired by Ms. Khristine E. Molitas, who shared meaningful discussions on Social Media Responsibility and how we can become advocates of peace in the digital world. She highlighted the threats that disrupt peace online and the tools we can use to create a more positive and respectful online community.

We also had the privilege of learning from Dr. Donabelle T. Panes, whose session on Leadership and Conflict Resolution provided fresh perspectives, practical strategies, and inspiring lessons on leading with integrity and resolving conflicts effectively.

The Dive Into Youth Organization extends its sincere gratitude to the Youth for Peace – Baguio Chapter for the invitation and for organizing this meaningful event. Together, let us continue to lead with purpose, inspire positive change, and build a more peaceful and united community.
