-Double Elimination
-Ramification shall be on lottery at the venue
-Each game shall be completed within 15 minutes. If the game is not completed within the allotted time, the team with the highest score at the end of 15 minutes shall be declared the winner.
-Players are responsible for making their own in and out calls. However, the tournament organizers and umpires have the final authority on any disputed or unclear calls and decisions.
-Games are played to 11 points. A team must win by 2 points. If the score reaches 10โ€“10 (deuce), play shall continue until one team gains a 2-point lead, subject to the 15-minute game time limit.
-If the 15-minute time limit is reached while the game is in deuce, the team with the higher score at that time shall be declared the winner.
-The Finals shall be played as a best-of-three (3) sets match. The team that wins 2 out of 3 sets shall be declared the tournament champion.

1. Unbecoming acts of coop participants during the events will not be tolerated, organizers shall decide on the sanctions for such acts.
2. Only those listed in the entry form per coop shall be allowed to play, as certified by their respective managers/chairpersons.
3. 15 minutes defaulting time will be strictly implemented.
4. Wear proper sports attire.
5. Bring first-aid kits, water and food for your team.

Recently, the Sangguniang Kabataan of La Trinidad reviewed and updated their Comprehensive Barangay Youth Development Plans (CBYDP). Financial literacy was introduced as one of the must have practical skill that youths should develop as early as possible.

Wilbur Cawayan, Coop Development Specialist of LT Mayor's Office (MCDSO), conducted a financial literacy session for the youth leaders from the different barangays of the municipality. His discussion focused on the fundamental part of responsible investing: assessing and understanding risk.

The discussion also covered financial avenues that youths may consider, including PDIC-insured digital banks, Pag-IBIG MP2, Treasury bonds and established and reputable cooperatives. He emphasized that while there are different ways to save and invest, making an informed decision is more important than simply chasing higher returns.

As a coop advocate, Cawayan featured cooperative as possible means for developing financial discipline, savings and thrift.

He ended his presentation emphasizing that under Economic Empowerment-one of the 10 centers of participation, financial literacy program can serve as a tool to help youths develop responsible financial habits.

Apatnapung (40) kalahok mula sa walong kooperatiba ang nagtagisan para sa E-Sports Tournament Event (Mobile Legends) na isa sa mga aktibidad ng 8th La Trinidad COOPlympics. Ipinakita ng bawat koponan ang kanilang angas, estratehiya, at sportsmanship sa naturang event.

Tampok sa torneo ang ilang kapana-panabik na laban, kabilang ang matinding bakbakan para sa ikatlong puwesto sa pagitan ng Benguet State University and Community Multipurpose Cooperative (BSUCMPC) at ng 1st Season Champion na La Trinidad Vegetable Trading Post Multi Purpose Cooperative (LTVTP MPC). Pinakita ng BSUCMPC na may bitaw ang koponan nila at matagumpay na naipanalo ang kanilang mga laban upang makuha ang ikatlong pwesto.

Sa championship match, hinarap ng Coop Ltmempc (LTMEMPC) ang isang matindi at pamilyar na katunggali, ang Treasure Link Cooperative Society - LT (TLCS-LT). Matapos matisod sa unang laro (aray mo), mabilis na nakabawi ang pangkat ng LTMEMPC, nakapag-adjust ng estratehiya at muling nakapagpakita ng composure. Sinundan ito ng LTMEMPC ng tatlong sunod-sunod na panalo upang tapusin ang serye sa iskor na 3โ€“1 at tuluyang masungkit ang kanilang back-to-back championship.

The Womenโ€™s Volleyball competition of the 8th La Trinidad COOPlympics has officially started, with five matches completed under the tournamentโ€™s double-elimination format.

๐€๐ฎ๐ ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ญ ๐Ÿ–, ๐Ÿ๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ”. A total of 13 teams representing different cooperatives in La Trinidad competed in the Doubles Men Pickleball event which featured two brackets. In a surprising outcome, teams from Multipurpose Cooperative of COA Employees (MPCCE) and the La Trinidad Municipal Employees Multipurpose Cooperative (LTMEMPC) emerged from the two brackets to battle for the top three spots.

MPCCEโ€™s Bracket B team, Jordan Ibis and Dickerson Laruan, secured the championship after advancing through the competition eventually facing their fellow MPCCE teammates from Bracket A in the battle for the top spot.

Their fellow MPCCE representatives, Kier Bigo and Jason Kidiatan, captured 1st Runner-Up, giving MPCCE a remarkable one-two finish in the Menโ€™s Open Doubles category.

Meanwhile, LTMEMPCโ€™s Bernabe Saingan and Kmharre Alasa-as completed the podium earning the 2nd Runner-Up spot.

The 8th COOPlympics Women's Volleyball and Pickleball events will continue as scheduled.

However, due to the effects of Tropical Cyclone Maymay and the Southwest Monsoon here in La Trinidad, all participating cooperatives are advised to take extra precaution when traveling to the Municipal Gymnasium. Your safety is the priority.

If the weather conditions prevent you from attending the events, please don't feel pressured to travel. There will always be another opportunity next year. For the Women's Volleyball event, the tournament follows double-elimination format, so teams that missed the initial game may still have a chance to compete subject to the tournament rules and next schedule.
