The WORK-the-TALK Society conducted a seminar on the Safe Spaces Act and HIV 101 at the Kayabang Hall in the Tourism Building on June 10, 2026.
The program started with an opening prayer led by Vicky Balancia, the WTTS Secretary, followed by opening remarks delivered by Renier Palao, the WTTS President. The session started with Ms. Krisha Mae W. Bugaling's discussion of the Safe Spaces Act, followed by HIV 101. SPES beneficiaries actively participated in the forum, activities, and Q&A by the facilitators and resource speaker. Jumari Noipe, the WTTS Vice President, delivered his closing remarks to formally close the program.

The WORK-the-TALK Society and Students for Liberty conducted a seminar on Building Habits and Professional Communications at the Kayabang Hall, Tourism Building, on June 13, 2026.

The program started with an opening prayer led by Vicky Balancia, the WTTS Secretary, followed by opening remarks delivered by Jumari Noipe, the WTTS Vice President. The session started with Mr. Hosea Ramos Pengosro's discussion on Effective Professional Communication and Good Work Habits. SPES beneficiaries actively participated in the Question and Answer Sessions, Activities, and other activities brought by the facilitators and resource speaker. The last session was led by Ms. Liezel Mae Sabado, covering an introduction to Students for Liberty. Ma'am Elengy Bolidi, the WTTS adviser, formally closed the program with her inspiring messages.

The Regional Agricultural and Fishery Council (RAFC), FPOP Baguio-Benguet Chapter, and our dedicated partner organizations are launching an urgent, rapid-response monetary donation drive to aid displaced families currently facing widespread damage and aftershocks.

By focusing solely on 𝗙𝗜𝗡𝗔𝗡𝗖𝗜𝗔𝗟 𝗗𝗢𝗡𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗦, the initiative eliminates regional shipping delays and high transport costs, transforming your generosity into instant purchasing power for our ground teams to help families who have lost their homes and access to basic necessities.

All collected monetary donations will be submitted directly to the FPOP SOCCSKSARGEN Chapter. They are on the ground and are responsible for the immediate purchase and rapid distribution of highly critical relief supplies.

Ready, Set, SPES!!

‎The spes orientation was conducted by the Public Employment Service Offfice last May 1,2026, at the Municipal Covered Parking Area, inviting the WORK-the-TALK Society to play a role for the succes of the program.
‎
‎The orientation commenced with an opening remarks from Hon. Roderick Awingan, municipal mayor, who highlighted the importance of public service and the value of SOESnprogram for students.
‎
‎Following this, Ms. Imelda M. Obidos, HRMO Head, delivered "Work Ethics and Office Protocols," Ms. Cristel Joy Casimero (LEO 1) provided an overview of the core functions of PESO, and Sir Gaspar C. Depao Jr., the spes coordinator, discussed the SPES ESSENTIALS.

‎The afternoon program then kicked off with the grouping, then team building activities, facilitated by the WORK-the-TALK Society focusing on camaraderie and organizational awareness. Furthermore, the organization introduced itself to the spes as the governing body and a youth organization here in La Trinidad

“𝘽𝙄𝙉𝙉𝘼𝘿𝘼𝙉𝙂 𝙉𝙂 𝙆𝘼𝘽𝘼𝙏𝘼𝘼𝙉 𝙋𝘼𝙍𝘼 𝙎𝘼 𝘽𝙔𝘼𝙃𝙀𝙍𝙊 𝙉𝙂 𝙇𝘼 𝙏𝙍𝙄𝙉𝙄𝘿𝘼𝘿”

In response to the prevailing oil crisis and its impact on local livelihoods, the 𝚆𝙾𝚁𝙺-𝚃𝚑𝚎-𝚃𝙰𝙻𝙺 𝚂𝙾𝙲𝙸𝙴𝚃𝚈 of La Trinidad, Benguet, successfully conducted a ‘Free Lunch Drive’ for 50 Public Utility Jeepney (PUJ) drivers today, April 15, 2026.

This initiative was funded through the collective contributions of the Special Program for Employment of Students (SPES) Batch 2025, channeling their service earnings back into the community. By providing these meals, the youth volunteers aim to alleviate the daily expenses of our drivers and uphold the Cordilleran spirit of ‘𝓑𝓲𝓷𝓷𝓪𝓭𝓪𝓷𝓰’.

🎉 SPES LA TRINIDAD 2026 RESULTS ARE IN! 🍓

Congratulations to the 200 officially selected SPES beneficiaries!
From 756 applicants, a total of 589 took the Pre-Qualifying Examination, and 304 advanced to the interview stage. After a thorough screening and deliberation by PESO, the final 200 beneficiaries have been successfully selected.
Next Step: Submit your requirements on the scheduled dates at the PESO Unit.
