In response to the recent Kanlaon volcano eruption, YES-O La Granja has launched a donation drive to help the evacuated individuals and their families. 👨‍👩‍👧

We are thrilled to launch our impactful environmental campaign, "𝐍𝐎 𝐏𝐋𝐀𝐒𝐓𝐈𝐂𝐒 𝐓𝐔𝐄𝐒𝐃𝐀𝐘𝐒 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐓𝐇𝐔𝐑𝐒𝐃𝐀𝐘𝐒," under the passionate guidance of our esteemed advisers: Ma'am Glesie Alhomlany, Sir Dean Clifford Joame, Ma'am Juvelyn Amolar, and Sir Arman Arroyo. A heartfelt appreciation to our dedicated Teacher In-Charge, Ma'am Ivy T. Dalisay.

In accordance with 𝐑.𝐀. 9003, 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐄𝐜𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐒𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐝 𝐖𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐀𝐜𝐭, and 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐎𝐫𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐍𝐨. 2022-06, we, the Youth for Environment in Schools Organization (YES-0) of La Granja National High School, stand firm in advocating for a sustainable future by phasing out single-use plastics, cellophanes, sando bags, and styrofoams in the City of La Carlota.

1𝐬𝐭 𝐃𝐈𝐕𝐈𝐒𝐈𝐎𝐍 𝐘𝐄𝐒-𝐎 𝐒𝐔𝐌𝐌𝐈𝐓 2024

Delegates from La Granja National High School embarked on a triumphant journey at the 1st Division YES-O Summit hosted by San Miguel National High School. Our narrative is adorned with exceptional achievements, each resonating with the heartbeat of environmental advocacy and creativity.

- Champion in the Cheerleading Competition, showcasing not only skill but also teamwork and spirit.
- Tableau Competition Champion, achieving a collaborative victory with La Granja Farm School delegates, weaving an impactful narrative through creativity.
- Janice Salgado secures 3rd place in the Essay Writing Contest, demonstrating her commitment to articulate environmental advocacy.
- Jose Marvin Magbanua claims 1st place in the Poster Making Contest, transforming art into a powerful medium for environmental awareness.
- Champion in the Banner Making Contest, thanks to Marion Liber's creative brilliance. He also shines as the 2nd Runner-up and Best in Q&A as our Lakan ng Kalikasan Candidate.
- Gratitude to Anne Loise del Rosario for representing us as Lakambini ng Kalikasan Candidate, adding grace to our environmental advocacy.

Special thanks to our dedicated advisers, Ma'am Glesie Alhomlany, Sir Dean Clifford Joame, Sir Arman Arroyo, Ma'am Juvelyn Amolar, Ma'am Bliss Salaver, and to the faculty and staff of La Granja National High School, especially to our teacher in charge, Ma'am Ivy Dalisay, for their unwavering support and guidance. Also, thanks to the coordinators of this summit for bringing in speakers to impart valuable knowledge about environmental values. Behind these achievements, we gained knowledge for a better future for our Mother Earth.
