𝐒𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐘𝐄𝐒-𝐎 𝐖𝐞𝐞𝐤, 𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝟐

Today was the second day of Yes-O and Science Week.
Today's challenge was the 𝙗𝙖𝙧𝙜𝙚-𝙗𝙪𝙞𝙡𝙙𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙘𝙤𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙨𝙩. This game was composed of foil, a bucket, and a coin. The players are from different grade levels and have three participants per grade level.

The aim of this activity is durability and safety. These two things give us the mindset to conquer the challenges, even though we don't know what challenges are waiting. To the players, you are brave to join in this challenge as you, the future scientist and environmentalist, know what possibilities could happen in times of need. 🍃🌎

Today marked the first day of Science and Yes-O Week. In the afternoon, there were two more activities: the 𝙋𝙖𝙥𝙚𝙧 𝘼𝙞𝙧𝙥𝙡𝙖𝙣𝙚 and 𝘾𝙝𝙤𝙥𝙥𝙚𝙧 𝘾𝙝𝙖𝙡𝙡𝙚𝙣𝙜𝙚. San Miguel National High School celebrated Yes-O and Science Week. Started with an opening program.

Science and Yes O activities help children to better understand the environment they live in; they develop analytical thinking, problem solving, and coping skills that appeal to their inquisitive minds as they try to make sense of the world and how things work.🍃🌎

Hi, Environmentalists and Young Scientists of San Miguel National High School! On February 26-29, we will be having our YES-O and Science Week. During this last week of February, you will discover more about science and the Earth. February is also known as "Feb-ibig", so let's love our planet as we love our family, friends, and lovers. 💚🌍

𝗧𝗿𝗲𝗲 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴: “𝗔 𝗖𝗵𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗺𝗮𝘀 𝗚𝗶𝗳𝘁 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗿𝗲𝗻.”


The San Miguel National High School participated in a national simultaneous tree planting activity held today, December 6, 2023, titled 𝗗𝗲𝗽𝗘𝗱’𝘀 𝟮𝟯𝟲𝗞 𝗧𝗿𝗲𝗲𝘀: “𝗔 𝗖𝗵𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗺𝗮𝘀 𝗚𝗶𝗳𝘁 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗿𝗲𝗻.”

All participants are from the clubs of San Miguel National High School, led by Youth for Environment in School-Organization officers and an adviser. The San Miguelians are supported by our active and beautiful OIC principal, Dr. Ma. lumina V. Rumbines, also supported by our master teacher, Mrs. Marlyn Mesobre, And also our club advisers.

The Department of Education (DepEd) launches a project entitled DepEd’s 236,000 Trees: A Christmas Gift for the Children. This is an initiative that aims to promote environmental preservation and instill environmental responsibility among Filipino children.

Also, by planting trees, we encourage students to continue their connection to the environment and to be the leaders who take steps toward preserving the environment and promoting awareness and protection of the environment we live in.
