The Training on Culture of Peace and Action-Planning was successfully held on July 25–27, 2025 at Horizon Suites, General Santos City.

This significant event brought together Security Sectors, Local Government Units (LGUs), and People’s Councils from Sarangani Province to strengthen their commitment to promoting peace and sustaining collaborative efforts in their respective communities.

As part of the training, participants also engaged in action planning sessions, where they outlined concrete strategies and initiatives to sustain their organizations and further advance a culture of peace in their areas.

📢 Day 1 of Culture of Peace Training Begins!
The ProPEACE Project, implemented by Maguindanaon Development Foundation, Inc. (MDFI), has officially kicked off Day 1 of the Training on Culture of Peace and Action-Planning for Security Sectors, Local Government Units (LGUs), and People’s Councils.

This vital activity aims to promote a peace-oriented mindset and strengthen collaborative efforts for sustainable peace in our communities.

The session is facilitated by our esteemed Resource Person, Mr. Ahmed Harris R. Pangcoga, who brings valuable insights on building a culture of peace and unity.

✨ Empowering Communities, Preserving Culture! ✨

On July 18, 2025, the Maguindanaon Development Foundation, Inc. (MDFI) team visited the Sargen Muslim Women Consumers Cooperative (SMWCC) under the ProPEACE Project – Livelihood Program in Sapu Masla, Malapatan, Sarangani Province.

During the visit, SMWCC proudly showcased their beautiful Moro cultural attire—available for rent and for sale—as well as their traditional Igan set for Kalilang celebrations. 🌸

This initiative highlights not only the creativity and entrepreneurial spirit of Moro women but also their dedication to preserving rich cultural heritage.
