DID YOU KNOW? A KING FROM SULU IS BURIED IN CHINA!
In 1417, Rajah Paduka Batara of Sulu sailed to China to pay tribute to Emperor Yongle of the Ming Dynasty. But during the historic journey, he tragically died in Dezhou, Shandong Province — where he was buried with royal honors by the Chinese emperor.
Centuries later, his descendants still live in China, preserving a rare and powerful Filipino-Chinese royal legacy that continues to bridge two great cultures.
