The Rotary Club of Metro Koronadal was honored to welcome District Governor Angel โ€œJongโ€ Fernandez and District Secretary Mary Christine Chua during the Wheelchairs for Kids Distribution held recently.

Together, they witnessed the heartwarming turnover of three customized wheelchairs to children with cerebral palsyโ€”each one a symbol of Rotaryโ€™s compassion and commitment to improving lives.

This project reflects Rotaryโ€™s enduring mission of โ€œService Above Selfโ€, bringing mobility, hope, and smiles to families in need.

The Rotary Club of Metro Koronadal, in collaboration with the Rotary Club of Midtown Gensan, successfully conducted the Wheelchairs for Kids Distribution on October 5, 2025, in Malungon, Sarangani.

A total of six (6) children with cerebral palsy received their new customized wheelchairs, providing them with greater comfort, mobility, and independence.

This initiative reflects Rotaryโ€™s unwavering commitment to serve communities with compassion and to bring hope where itโ€™s needed most.

The Rotary Club of Metro Koronadal warmly welcomed District Governor Angel โ€œJongโ€ Fernandez and District Secretary Mary Christine Chua during the Governorโ€™s official visit on October 11, 2025, held at Chingโ€™s Citi Garden and Restaurant.

During the visit, the club proudly presented its completed, ongoing, and upcoming projects and activities, showcasing the membersโ€™ dedication to advancing Rotaryโ€™s areas of focus and upholding the spirit of Service Above Self.

We extend our heartfelt appreciation to Governor Jong Fernandez and District Secretary Mary Christine Chua for their inspiring presence and guidance. Their visit strengthened the clubโ€™s resolve to continue serving the community with compassion, integrity, and purpose.

The Rotary Club of Metro Koronadal held its regular monthly meeting on September 14, 2025, to discuss key updates and upcoming activities. The agenda included the successful conduct of RAC Matutumโ€™s RAC Cycle, preparations for the RAC Metro Koronadalโ€™s UFG Camp, and the Areawide Tree Growing Activity.

Club members who were unable to attend in person actively participated via online platform, ensuring continued collaboration and engagement in all Rotary initiatives.

Together, we move forward with shared purpose and commitment to Service Above Self.
