โExamine yourselves to see whether you are in the faith.โ โ 2 Corinthians 13:5
Salvation is not merely a profession of faithโit is a transformed life anchored in Christ. The security of our salvation is not found in our performance, but in the finished work of Jesus Christ. Those who are truly saved are kept by His grace and sustained by His power.
At the same time, Scripture warns us against a false faith that is only outward and superficial. Genuine faith produces visible evidence: a growing love for God, obedience to His Word, repentance from sin, and a life increasingly shaped by Christ.
This is why Paul calls believers to examine themselves. Not to live in fear, but to honestly ask: ๐ฐ๐ ๐ช๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐ ๐๐๐๐ ๐๐ ๐๐ ๐๐๐๐?
Salvation is secure in Christ, but it is also evident in the fruit it bears.
A person cannot lose something they never truly had. True salvation is not proven by a past decision alone, but by a present and continuing relationship with Jesus that transforms the way we live.
May we continually examine our hearts, rest in Christโs saving grace, and allow our lives to reflect the reality of our faith.
Happy Sunday!โจ๐ค
